[M/N] had received a message from his crow, Kanzaburō, about a mission surrounding a school in America. He sweat-dropped while watching his crow fly away wobbly. His crow worried him but he continued walking to Oyakata-sama's estate.

Once he arrived, he noticed that his master's disease was slowly starting to take over his eyes. Though, he said nothing of this. He bowed in respect, waiting for his orders on what to do next.

"Hello, my child. It seems that you had received your mission about demon sightings in America.. We would've asked our Hashiras but none of them can really stay hidden. As to not draw any attention to what we're doing, we're sending you in." He explained as [M/N] nodded.

"Thank you, Oyakata-sama." He bowed.

The head of the Corps smiled but stopped [M/N] from leaving. "Just a second, child. Would you mind if you'd removed your haori from your head?" He smiled.

[M/N] froze before nodding, taking his hood off of his head. Quickly enough, two wolf-like ears popped up as Ubuyashiki Kagaya and his wife, Amane, looked at them in awe.

[M/N] looked at the two in respect while they explained to him what he was to do once he arrived. Once they finished, they dismissed him. He walked through the estate, thinking about what he could do before he departed.

He sighed and covered his head again as he exited the building. He squinted as he looked up at the blinding sun in the sky.

He continued walking over to Urokodaki-sensei's estate to rest for the meantime.

Soon nightfall came with [M/N] preparing for his departure, not before slaying a few demons roaming around. His master was away, but he was sure to wish him luck on his departure.

[M/N] smiled softly and continued until he had everything he needed. He left the small estate and walked around, killing demons left and right. He did this til sunrise when he had to go.

His mentor had just arrived while he was gathering his items for the time spent in America. Urokodaki's stature was calm and relaxed when he finally saw his student in front of him.

"Hello, [M/N]." You could tell from his voice that he was happy to see the boy.

[M/N] looked up at the former Hashira and nodded, "Hello, Urokodaki-sensei." The two chatted before a Kakushi arrived to guide [M/N] to the port to America.

The Kakushi greeted them both before having to drag the boy away from the old man. [M/N] may not have shown it, but he was going to miss the man who trained him.

Once the boy and Kakushi were on a wagon, the boy stared at the scenery around them. He sighed and decided to take a nap, hoping by the time he woke up, they would have arrived.

And his hope was granted, because when he woke up, he had just arrived. He thanked the Kakushi before gathering his things and started boarding the ship.

He was guided through what he could do on the ginormous ship by the ally of the Demon Hunter Corps. [M/N] thanked the captain and decided to stay in his room for the duration of the trip, but still left every once in a while to stretch and train.

The journey only took a minimum of a week, but it was before Oyakata-sama said what he was to do once he arrived. Plus, they assigned him to a family that were already informed of what he was to do.

When it was time to leave, the captain of the ship came to his room personally and guided him to where to exit so nobody could see his weapon that he had on his waist.

He thanked them and did what they instructed. Once he was able to hide his sword behind his haori, he walked where everyone else was, waiting for their friends and family to pick them up.

He looked at the note Oyakata-sama's crow dropped and looked at the name written on it in Katakana.

'(シルバンナ)Sylvanna'.

He blinked before looking around, seeing if-

"Excuse me, young man!" A loud, strong voice interrupted his thoughts as an older woman was in front of him with a younger girl behind her.

[M/N] blinked rapidly, looking up at her. "Y-Yes?"

"Are you [M/N]?" She questioned; the girl behind her looking away in embarrassment.

[M/N] nodded. "Are you Savanna?" He questioned.

The woman nodded, before correcting him. "Yes, but it's pronounced 'Sylvanna'."

[M/N] nodded in understanding. "My apologies, Sylvanna-san."

Sylvanna waved off his worries, "Nonsense, mijo! It's okay! Anyways, this is my daughter, Aphmau!" She introduced her, smiling at the boy.

Aphmau, who was withering in embarrassment, jolted and looked at the two panicked.

"H-Hello! I'm Aphmau!!" She raised her hand for a shake but stopped herself when [M/N] bowed.

"Hello, Aphmau-san." The girl was confused and looked at her mom for help.

"Mija, it's just what people do in Japan to show respect to people!" The mother explained to her.

Aphmau nodded, sheepishly.
