Living in the OBX always sounds so perfect but it's not always cupcakes and rainbows. My life definitely isn't!!! I live on the cut and I'm barely able afford living and it doesn't help that my brother is high or wasted all the time! I get a bad reputation cause I was put in a mental hospital for a month for some stupid reason!  I'm not crazy but the judge or whoever decided it was best for me and my "trauma" like what, who are you to decide what's best for me!

I was walking on the beach crying after my shift at work, why? Because I was fired because I was freaking out the customers because of my past. Such bullshit!

I find a bench and I sit down watching this guy surf, he's really good! He starts to get out of the water and my god is this guy hot! He's got the most perfect tan body with a gorgeous six pack and perfect sunkissed blonde hair, he might just be hotter than me!  I realize that I'm staring at him and we make eye contact and I immediately look away of embarrassment!!

I notice he's walking closer and closer to me until finally he's right in front of me blocking the sun from shining on my skin.  Wait omg it's jj! He doesn't know me but i know him!

Y/n: hi?
Jj: hey, I couldent help but notice you staring!"
Y/n: I wasent staring! I was just.. observing my surroundings, you know I'm a teenage girl I'm very easy kidnap!
Jj: suuuurreeee, we can go with that! So what's your name?
Y/n: y/n..
Jj: wait! THE y/n! Like the one that was in a mental hospital!
Y/n: yeah that's the one.
Jj: sorry... it's just the news doesn't do you justice about how pretty you are!

Y/n: haha, thanks I guess! What's your name?

I get up to start going home, I don't want to leave but I know I should!

OMGGG he's so cute! I already know who his friends are and I've tryed to be friends with them but they don't wanna be friends with the freak whos know as the local psycho! I mean who would.

It's the next day and I wake up at 10 to start getting ready. I wear Jean shorts and a blue crop tight that makes my body look good! I throw my hair up in a cute bun and put mascara on and head on my way!

As I'm walking out I hear my brother...

Barry: y/n where you going?!
Y/n: none of your business.
Barry: whatever

I hate my brother but I still need a house I guess!

I meet jj at the beach and we're walking to the chateau and it's silent so I have to say something...

Y/n: sooo, you think there gonna like me?
Jj: I can't imagine why they wouldent!
Y/n: that's good!

We finally arrive and he opens the door for me as I walk in and the air is already heavy of major judgement... GREAT!

Jj: guys this is summer! Summer this is JB, Sarah, Pope and Kie!

They all say hi and so do I, they seem nice, other than kie and pope.

Kie: your the girl that was in the mental hospital, right?
Jj: Kie stop
Y/n: no it's fine, and yeah I was for a month!
Kie: oh that must have sucked.

She starts laughing to pope

Jj: why are yall acting like this you guys are never like this!
Pope: like what?
Jj: like a middle school girl
JB: ooooo ouch!
Pope: I just think it's weird you bring the local freak here!
Y/n: wow
Kie: what it's true!
Y/n: shut up! You'll never have to understand what I've been through!
Kie: yeah overdosing! I'll pass!
Y/n: I dident overdose!
Sarah: but that's what the news said? What happened then?
Kie: yeah what happened then huh?
Pope: seriously like you don't have to lie!
Y/n: I DIDENT OVERDOSE! Ok! I passed out cause I hadent eaten or drank anything in days!
Kie: but they found drugs in your blood!
Y/n: my brother drugged me!
Pops: yeah likely story!
Y/n: it's true! HE TOLD ME! 
Jj: ok calm down!
Sarah: shhh don't tell her what to do! I'm interested!
Y/n: look ok my mom had just died and my dad then left us so I was left with my drug dealing brother! He drugged me so he could get the money from my room to get even more drugs without me knowing! So before you go and spread lies and fake story's about what happened maybe you should ask!
Kie: that doesn't even sound remotely right!
Y/n: that's what happened!
Kie: even if that's what happened why should I care and become your "best friend"
Y/n: I'm not asking to be your best friend but at least a friend! I've been through hell and back all I want is a friend!
Jb: wait then why did you go to the mental hospital?
Y/n: because my brother told them I was going crazy and they believed him.

Everytime this happens and I hate it!

Sarah: I'm so sorry! That's horrible!
Y/n: yeah it is and people like her don't help!
Kie: I'm right here just say my name!
Y/n: fine Kie people like you and pope don't help with the false accusations!
Kie: we're not trying to!?
Y/n: trust me I can tell!
Kie: ALSO why should I try and help you when you haven't done anything for me or any of us!
Y/n: oh I don't know maybe cause it's the right thing to do! Also cause I have don't shit for you guys I mean pope I purchase stuff from your dads store, JB I defended you to my brother and ended up getting kicked out for 2 months because of it, Sarah I donated to your family after I found out about your dad, Kie I joined and signed your protest to get more protection for the turtles and jj the only reason your dad is in jail right now is because I knew what was going on and I sent in an anonymous tip about it ok! I knew about the drugs and the abusive, I KNEW! So you're welcome all of you! Now if you can exuse me because I can't deal with anymore of this bitches bullshit!

I slam the door behind me and start walking away while tears are falling down my face when I hear the door close again after me...

Jj: y/n wait!
Y/n: what!
JJ: I'm sorry Kie and pope are being dicks!
Y/n: really! I couldent tell!
Jj: I'm sorry!
Y/n: EVERYONE IS SORRY BUT THAT DOESNT CHANGE ANYTHING! I'm labeled as the drug addict when it wasent my fault! And all I want ALL IVE EVER WANTED IS FRIENDS! Friends that feel like family and trust me! I thought maybe this would be the time it happens but I was wrong! Clearly I'm not welcome here so I'm gonna go!
JJ: stop! Don't walk away!
Y/n: why! You know what Kie thinks of me why don't you think the same of me!
JJ: cause I like you!
Y/n: what?

He likes me, but I thought he dident know me!

Jj: I like you, I've liked you for a while but I thought you dident know me so I dident say anything!
Y/n: really?
Jj: yes really!

I don't know what to say! I feeel like my heart is in my throat! He's slowly leaning in and so am I.

His soft lips finally touch mine and my stomach does a back flip! When we finally pull apart, we look in each others eyes, his beautiful sky blue eyes!

Y/n: what's Kie gonna think?
Jj: who cares!
Y/n: she obviously does!
JJ: well I don't care why she cares about! Right now all I care about is you!

I just know I'm blushing like crazy right now! She's gonna kill me! I need to go!

Y/n: I should go!
Jj: why
Y/n: bye..

As I'm walking away all I can think about is that he actually likes me! Jj maybank actually likes me! This is great! Maybe life isn't so so bad after all!
