The Lost Chronicles is an undocumented recounting of Jared Rhyshannon's three-year sojourn in the Shadow Realm and his encounters with the dark lord, Mergenthaal. As Arlan, druid of the Conclave, makes a difficult decision to entrust the gravely ill Jared to Ervon's sole surviving Healer-Adept, little does he know of Mergenthaal's true intentions, or the extent of the dark lord's influence on Jared's young mind.
Since not a soul can attest to the events that took place in this perilous realm, the tale remains, to this day, proscribed from the Conclave's official Chronicles of Rhyshannon.
