The cool sea swarmed around me. Some giggly girls, who look around 15, squealed as they dipped their freshly manicured toes into the water. I rolled my eyes in disbelief. My Aunty always tried to persuade me too get a Ann Summers too tight for comfort bikini. I always refused so Mum always bought me a Sports Direct swimsuit. My Aunty much preferred my older sister Abigail, but that was before Dad took her away from my family when he and Mum broke up, around 7 years ago. So then it was just Mum, my 8 year old sister Marie and me ( Louisa, age 14.) Anyway, we'd come to Brighton beach for the day as we'd agreed to meet Abigail off the train from Essex, where her and Dad lived, but being a typical 18 year old, she had gone away with her friends even though we organized this weeks ago. Mum, being Mum, went mental and rang her. She left hundreds of messages ranting on about how she hadn't seen her in 1 year, as we usually meet up every 6 months but last time she didn't turn up. She told Mum that she was too busy studying but she texted me saying that she had seen her boyfriend. Cow. But even so, I didn't really mind not seeing her as she wasn't really a sister to me, she lost that statement years ago. When she left she personally promised me that she would contact me everyday, I reckon I've had about 2 conversations with her since she left. But it's ok as I had Marie and Mum.
