When I first opened my eyes everything was blurry, it felt like I was still under water. I tried to kick and move but nothing happened. In panic, my eyes adjusted to the surroundings. Both of my legs were tightly bandaged up, with my toes only visible. Puzzled, I wiggled my toes, too make sure I wasn't paralyzed. Luckily, they moved. A nurse came over to me and gave me some water. Only then did I realized that I was in a hospital. I took the cup out of her hands and tried to drink. When i drank it it got stuck in my throat and couldn't go down. I gagged and spat the water back out into a sick bucket. 'Why can't I swallow, where am I, where is my family, is the baby ok?' I question.
'Hi, my name is Annette and you are at Brighton hospital. When you were put to sleep, in the ambulance, you had an operation. In the operation we drained the water and poison from your body and as you had an allergic reaction to the jellyfish so your throat swelled up so you couldn't breath. We put a tube down your neck which supplied you with oxygen and food, 4 days later you woke up. You are a brave girl and you are going to be fine, you may have a few scares but they will remind you of your epic sacrifice. Your family is fine and they are very proud of you, you will be able to see them soon. The baby you saved is called Scarlett and you saved her life. She had a similar operation to you but luckily didn't have an allergic reaction. You're a true hero Louisa.' And with that she left.
