In the distance I spotted Marie playing in the rocks finding crabs, all the parents gave her looks as her crazy, short fiery red hair stood out from miles away.  I smiled to myself. I look around for Mum, she was sat in her deck chair reading her magazine, whilst eating her pear. As I searched the beach a tentacle wrapped itself around my leg. I instantly pulled away, I tried to reassure myself that it was just seaweed but it didn't feel like it. Normal people would run out screaming at this moment but decided to stay and watch. For the next 10 minutes I slowly patrolled the area, only looking up to search for Marie. As I was searching, a woman with a small baby girl and 2 ecstatic boys who looked around 2 came into the sea and started to perch next to me. The baby was strapped to her chest and her 2 sons paddled around with little arm bands on. She kept looking up at a man, roughly the same age as her, who was talking to a very pretty blonde 25 year old, after a few seconds of staring she would look at her wedding ring. From her face expressions and the similarity between the sons and the man, it guessed that the man was her husband and their marriage was collapsing. I suddenly felt a sudden urge to go and slap the young pretty girl in the tight, and quite revealing bikini, and to hug the woman with 3 children and grey hair creeping out of her scalp. As she watched her husband and the woman walk across the beach, holding hands, towards a quiet corner, she hid her head is shame. She tried to keep strong by putting her baby, who was fast asleep, in a baby inflatable swimming ring. Her boys started to kick and splash so she switched her attention to them. She only needed her attention to be switched off for a second for a surf to hit the baby's swimming ring. All the mother could do was watch her baby fall out of the ring and into the sea. Without even thinking, I jumped into the sea and dived down...
