"Bharati, I need you to come to my office," he replied in a serious tone. "There's something important we need to go over."

The request felt strange, and a curious urgency rose in her. "I'll be there in fifteen minutes."

"Dad... this is a partnership with... Tiwari Group?" She glanced up, a dozen questions flooding her mind. "Prince's family?"

"Yes," her father nodded. "Our families have been connected for generations. This partnership was something your grandfather started with Rajesh's father, and it continues even now."

Bharati's heart raced, the shock mixed with a sense of betrayal. She had spent so much time with Prince, shared so much, and yet he had never once mentioned this shared history.
