3rd P.O.V
Diane was sitting in front of a tree, the tree that her crush used to always sleep on. They would see each other there and talk about their day, about their future and anything else. They would talk about everything and nothing. Even the smallest thing.
They sat there, tears rolling down their face as they start to remember all the memories they had with them. All the laughing, the happiness, the crying. Everything.
"I miss you..." She mumbled as she looked at the sky. It was getting dark but she doesn't mind. She liked the night, it was calmer those days. "I'm sorry I wasn't there when you needed me..."
They couldn't help it anymore and broke down in tears, not being able to hold themselves back anymore. They tried to whip them away but no matter how much they tried more tears keep escaping their eyes.
"I'm sorry...I'm sorry I can't be strong for you..." She cried out as she hide her face in her hands. Still trying to stop the tears from escaping her eyes. "I'm so sorry my love..."
Everythjng came crashing in their mind, a brutal reminder that they'll never be able to see them again. They didn't wanted to remember that, it was painful, too painful for them. They felt their heart broke inside their chest, their chest started hurting.
She couldn't help it, she just wanted to go back in time and hug them in her arms, telling them that everything will be alright and that they could count on her. That if they needed anything they could tell her.
They wished they could tell them how much they loved them, they wish they could have told them everything they had on their heart, every feelings, every possible thing. They wished they wouldn't have only keep their relationship a friendly one. They wished it could have been more then that.
She kept crying as the soft breeze hit her hot tears, she sobbed uncontrolably, hugging her knees close to her chest as she apologies; for not being there for them, for not telling them everything she wished, for not telling them how much she loved them.
They thought it was their fault that they ended everything, they thought it was because they weren't there the moment they needed the most, that everything they've done wasn't enough. They thought they should have done more then what they did, they should have stayed by their side.
But that wasn't the case, they watched as Diane keep blaming herself, they wanted to tell her the truth, that it wasn't her fault they went down that path. But they couldn't anymore, they should have left a letter, even a small one. Explaining why they did that.
Guilt washed over them as they see their crush broke down like that. They should have explain to them, telling them what had happen to them. Why they did that and why they didn't told them sooner.
"Please don't blame yourself it's not your fault..." They mumbled, even if she couldn't hear them, they wish they could hug her, telling her how it wasn't her fault. That it was just the past that keep coming back, the guilt was just too much for them and they couldn't take it anymore.
They were scared, scared that they would go down the same path as them. They didn't wanted it to happen, that's why they stayed to watch over them. Just like their sister is doing for their boyfriend. They wanted to make sure they wrre alright. That they wouldn't put themselves in danger because of what they did.
They sat next to her as they took their hand, even if dhe couldn't feel it. They still wanted to be close to her. They couldn't do much but stare at her.
"I'm sorry I can't be here to hold you..." They mumbled as they kept looking at her. "But I'm still here, even if you can't see me..." He sighed and looked at her eyes, even if she can't see them, they wanted to let her know that.
"I love you..."
