Aisha and I set off on a winding road that led to the outskirts of Delhi, the air growing cooler as we drove deeper into the countryside. The landscape transformed into a tapestry of fields and forests, and soon we arrived at a secluded temple, hidden among the trees.

The temple was ancient, its walls adorned with faded carvings depicting scenes of rituals long forgotten. Mohan led us to a heavy wooden door, intricately carved with symbols that seemed to pulse with energy.

"Here we are," he said, his voice hushed. "This is the entrance to the library. Only your heart's true intent will allow you to enter."

I placed my hand against the door, feeling the warmth radiating from the wood. In that moment, I focused on my purpose: to understand the curse, to protect myself and Aisha, and to prevent it from causing further chaos. The door creaked open, revealing a dark corridor that smelled of age and dust.

As we stepped inside, the air was thick with the weight of history. Shelves lined the walls, filled with ancient texts and scrolls. I felt a rush of excitement mingled with fear. This was the knowledge I had sought, but I was acutely aware of the power it contained.

Mohan began to sift through the scrolls, his fingers gliding over the parchment with reverence. "Look for anything related to Narbali and the rituals that surround it. The knowledge here is vast, but tread carefully."

While Mohan worked, I turned to Aisha, who was peering at a nearby scroll, her brow furrowed in concentration. "You okay?" I asked, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"I'm fine," she said, glancing up with a small smile. "Just... trying to wrap my head around all of this. I didn't sign up for curses and dark magic when I decided to be your friend!"

I chuckled, grateful for her lightheartedness. "Neither did I. But I need you here. You keep me grounded."

"Always," she replied, squeezing my hand before returning to the scrolls.

After what felt like hours, I stumbled upon a scroll titled The Binding of the Narbali: Secrets of the Bloodline. My hands trembled as I unfurled it, the ancient script revealing a series of rituals designed to control and even banish the curse.

But as I read further, my heart sank. The final ritual required a significant sacrifice—one that would ensure the curse would never return.

"What's wrong?" Aisha asked, noticing my expression.

I showed her the scroll, and her face paled. "That's a heavy price. Is there no other way?"

"There might be," I replied hesitantly. "But we'll need to figure it out together. The final ritual mentions invoking a spirit connected to the curse."

Aisha's expression shifted, her eyes narrowing. "Are you suggesting we reach out to Druvan's spirit?"

I nodded slowly. "If the curse is tied to his bloodline, perhaps we can confront it together. With his guidance, we might stand a chance."

"Then let's do it," Aisha said, her determination shining through. "But we have to be careful."
