*still in the moment, Rio and Agatha scanning every little detail from their faces, that they could remember it forever*

Rio's pov:

I've never seen eyes like hers, the lightest blue color, that they were nearly silver, and I couldn't help but to stare.
The way her eyes slowly move around, trying to see everything I am— her eyes consume me.
Her cheeks slowly turning light pink, she's nervous, I love that color on her, it suits her.
I try to look away from her eyes but I can't, I can see all the pain she had in the past, I can literally feel it just by looking at her.
I don't want her feeling anything slightly as horrible ever again.
She should have a life full of love and affection, I wanna give that to her but I don't know if she would want that if she knew who I really am, my true self.

„You're beauty is breath taking my dear", Agatha whispered.

My heart felt like it was stopping, I never thought I could feel something, my existence was always the same, no surprises, no feelings, just doing my job, over and over again.

She gave me a feeling, a spark of a feeling, like a mortal being, my chest rises and bows— can I really feel something?

And then it happened, a tear escaped my eye— a tear escaped my eye??
it slowly runs down my face, my skin burns right where it leads down.

In all those centuries, all those years, I always felt so numb.
Can it be?— Am I capable of having emotions?

*In this moment Rio's whole world collided, everything suddenly shined brighter, felt lighter, and in the center of everything was she, Agatha, the person that gave her all she ever dreamed of.
Just one taste of life.
Agatha's smile manages to destroy the coldness her heart holds.
Rio didn't even knew that she had a heart, it never beat for anything before, but from now on it beats in the same rhythm as Agatha's heart*

„You can't even imagine what you just gifted me", I whispered relieved.

*Rio moved both her hands behind Agatha's head and pulled her into a hug.
Body to body, skin to skin.
They were so close to each other that they could feel their heart beat.
The warmth that Agatha's body radiates, it flows through Rio's body*

I wish I could hold her for eternity, that we could stay here forever— but Agatha doesn't live forever, she will eventually die, like everyone else.
But till this day, I will be by her side, even if she doesn't want me there, I will be in the shadows watching over her.
