Chapter One
To Russia!
╰──────•◈•──────╯

❝I'm not a bunny!❞

NO CLEAR INFORMATION were given to me about this mission that interrupted my vacation. All I had to do was just investigate this weapon named Anastasia and see if there was any blueprints available for it.

I was disguised as an exclusive Japanese employer named Sakamoto Hina from a company called Itochu Corporation to attend a private signing celebration. The party will include so many officials, suitable to gain information. However, one thing Chief Lim told me to be careful about.

Psikh Bogdanov.

I know, weird name. Psikh means psycho while Bogdanov is a Russian surname. This guy was also known as a nuclear bomb which means that he is super duper dangerous and I MUST avoid him if I wanted my mission to go smoothly. Still, I'm not going down without a fight and mark my words. To be honest though, I was very curious to know who was this almighty Psikh Bogdanov that everyone feared.

Anyway.

During my trip to Russian, nothing bad happened... aside from a drunken man making a fuss over nothing. No worries though, I talked to him and calmed him down... in my own way >:). Other than that, it was smooth sailing. I even received a message from my father before the plane took off, a bit of encouragement wouldn't hurt. I feel so bad for lying to him, he didn't know I work as spy. I had told him that I work in civil service. If he had ever discovered my real job, father would get a heart attack. So, I had to keep it as a secret from him.

The plane arrived a little late, but it was fine. I arrived either way, so no problems. It was just a bit freezing here that I had to pull my coat tighter around me. As I walked through the crowded airport, I heard someone call me out. I turned my head and saw a strange man, "Mrs. Sakamoto? Greetings! My name is Vasili Alexandrovich, and I work in the Gazprom Public Relations office. I heard that you are entering the country first today, and I came out to greet you." The man introduced himself to me with a very cheerful attitude.

The problem was... I was never told that someone was going to escort me! I wish I can punch Chief Lim for not telling me everything beforehand.

"I didn't get that call..." I told him with a hint of suspect.

"You didn't hear from me? No way! I'm sure I informed your company this morning. Your company also said it would tell Mrs. Sakamoto the news."

I raised an eyebrow and pulled out my phone to check if I received any messages. For sure, there was a text message from Chief Lim telling me that Gazprom will send someone to pick me up. Too late! Seriously though, is he trying to get me exposed already? I sighed and put my phone back in my pocket, "Ah... That's right." I told Vasili, fixing my glasses.

"There must have been some mistake? Anyway, thank you for coming all the way. But you're way behind schedule, aren't you?"

"There was a little commotion on board."

"Did any other drunk go on a rampage?"

" ...how'd you know that?" I squinted my eyes at him, my guards getting high up.

"That's because it's common for hot Russian men to like vodka. You must have been very surprised. Then, I will be leading you this way."

Seriously though, how did he know about the drunken man? This was so suspicious. For now, I didn't question it and just followed him to the waiting car outside the airport.

I sat quietly in the backseat of car, minding my own business and never engaging into any chatters. Everything was fine... if Vasili would just shut up for a moment!

*Sigh.*

Once I reach that hotel, I'm gonna sleep until tomorrow afternoon... no questions. I was watching outside the window, seeing that we were stuck in the crowd of cars, "Damn it, did we get caught in rush hour traffic? I would've arrived there by now if not for the delay. I should've beaten that drunken bastard more..." I thought with a frown on my face, clinching my fists tightly. I could hear Vasili talk to the driver before he turned to look at me, "I don't think we'll be able to move for a while at this rate, so why don't we take a shortcut? I know everything about Moscow. Since it's dinner time, Sakamoto will be hungry. But don't you just want to rest after a long flight?" The man suggested, looking slightly nervous.

I swear I began to dislike him more for no reason.

Another sigh left my lips as I nodded my head, "Yeah, you're right." That was all I said, indicating that I don't want to talk anymore. I just wanted to go to bed early and rest. The driver took the car through an alleyway, driving through it like a pro. It was a narrow passageway, but the guy drove normally. Just then, something caught my attention. I didn't know what was it, but I was sure I saw something moving. Was it an object? I didn't know, but it passed by so fast to see it. Vasili noticed me looking around, "Is something wrong?" He asked me, flashing me a puzzled look.

"... It's nothing."

I decided to ignore that odd object I barely saw and just look outside the window. During the drive through the endless alleyways, I noted that there were a few things we passed by more than one time, like those green dumpsters. There was no way this was a coincident after it repeated more than one time, "I think we're lost." I spoke up calmly, breaking the silence of the car. Vasili laughed at my assumption, "No way. It's going right." He assured me, but I can tell he was faking it.

"No. That's definitely the road before. The trash can you see on the left. It's where the dirt is, the overflowing garbage, and the lid is about to close, the same as we saw a while ago. What about the building behind it? Cracks on the outer walls, the color of the bricks and the shape of the window frame, and even the laundry and pots hanging there. It's no different from what I've seen before."

"...You have a good eye."

Upon hearing his sarcastic reply, I reached out to pull my gun, "Stop the car." I demanded as I pointed my gun at his head. Vasili raised his in surrender, "You have quite a dangerous toy, Mrs. Sakamoto." He stated with a nonchalant tone, as if he was unfazed by the gun.

"Who are you?" I asked him firmly.

"I think I told you. My name is Vasili Alexandrovich, who has come to serve you."

"That Alexandrovich would have nothing to do with Gazprom?"

"There is only a little."

The car suddenly came to a halt and the door swung open, revealing another man rushing in. I was taken off guard when the stranger pinned me down on the seat, pointing a gun at me, "Why don't you behave yourself? Mrs. Sakamoto." Vasili said to me with an sly smirk on his face.

"I have been jinxed..."
