As usual, Jessica was right. Four long classes later, Erin and Tori were way to excited.
"Tell us everything!" Erin squeaked, clapping her hands together in unnecessary enthusiasm.
"Guys, really, it's nothing interesting."
I say, trying to climb out of a whole I dug myself.
"You are dating the hottest guy in high school, even the seniors are talking about it.Trust me, it's something," Aria says, plopping herself down next to Tori, "What's up lil' sis?"
"Wishing you would get your own friends." Tori replies, smacking her older sisters hand away from her lunch tray.
"See, even Ari can't believe it." Jess pushes. I look around the cafeteria to find Chris waving me over, I motion that I'll be over in a minute and turn back to my friends.
"Okay, if you stop asking questions you guys can come over tonight and I'll do my best to explain everything."
"Am I invited?" Ari asks, I look at Tori for permission and she mouths a 'no'. I chuckle at their hateful relationship and stand up.
"You'll come anyway. in case I don't get the chance to talk to you, just come over at 5."

I leave the table, dramatically blowing a kiss to my best friends and walk over to the popular table. Before speaking, I take a deep breath and lick my lips.
"Hey babe." I say cheerfully, standing behind Chris, wrapping my arms around his shoulders.
"Everyone, this is my girlfriend Zoe." He introduces, intertwining one of my hands in his. I smile at the table, half of it is occupied by the rest of the popular guys who all seem, as Aria would say, 'pretty chill' with me. But the few cheerleaders are shooting daggers at me, hiding behind fake smiles.
I try to calm my stomach, reminding myself it'll all be over soon.
"Zoe, are you new here?" Gemma asks.
"Um, no actually-"
"She's been here since fourth grade, Gems." Isaac, a tall, buff guy, cuts her off.
"Is that so?" Harper asks, I reply with a yes but she continues talking, "How come you haven't been around before? Why the sudden interest?"
"For your information," I start to tell her off but Chris cuts in.
"You two just probably maneuver around each other, you don't have a whole lot of classes together."
Realising I'll have to spend the rest of lunch with these people, I sit down between Chris and Beaux, who gives my an award-winning smile.
"So, who's coming to Taylor's party? It's only 4 days away."
"I heard he's gonna sneak in some real serious shit, man."
The conversations between the table continues, and I drift off into silence - wrecking my brain for an excuse to leave. I can feel Harpers stare murdering me from across the table so I need to come up with something quick.
"I'm gonna get going to class, you don't mind right?" I whisper.
"It's 20 minutes early, babe."
"Yeah, I know. I just have to finish something's up." my eyes flick towards Harper and he seems to get the message.
So I head out of the cafeteria, and to the library.
