They say I'm weird
Or uncool
But I never once feared
That they wouldn't understand my old soul
They say I'm quirky
Or strange
See that peaked my interest
My attitude is perky
That's all
They say I'm creepy
Or delusional
But they don't see when I'm weeping
Behind closed doors
Peeping through cracks in the walls
Longing to find my someone
To live a life
One quite unusual
Peaceful
Ethereal
I'm alone in a world full of pairs
One on one
But I'm stuck in a circle
Cycles of relationships
Loveless
No care
No one there for me
To lean on their shoulders
My emotions
My fears
Any anger
Like boulders
Tumbling down with no way back up
And now I fear that when love has struck
It was once again loveless
And useless
Trapped in a game
Like a pawn in chess
My life once so simple and plain
Love now just used as a way to undress
Where is the romance
And care
I want it to be
Someone unusual
To love me for me
