Once again - Reece

Once again I'm sat,
Thinking of what I could be,
Words from my father,
Why so cruel to me,

Once again I protect,
My sister so fragile,
Yet strong in her ways,
How I wished to be exiled
From the pain caused by a name.

Once again I'm reminded,
Of how I'm a knight,
Hard- headed,
Strong willed,
From a man who only exists to steal light,
From his children,
His wife,
Everybody near.

And once again I'm reminded,
That this is forever my fate,
A life trapped in a prison,
Oh how I wish to get out,
To break free from my shackles,
To come on leaps and bounds,

So I'll fight through the shadows,
With courage as my guide,
For every chain that I shatter,
A brighter path will stride.
