As the first rays of sunlight filtered through the curtains, I slowly woke up, stretching my limbs while still feeling the remnants of sleep. Tommy, still in bed beside me, rubbed his eyes and smiled brightly upon catching sight of me. His lips met mine in a gentle kiss that lingered, and I felt warmth spread through me as he held me close. We paused to catch our breath, exchanging glances that spoke volumes, and then kissed again, lost in the moment.

"Tommy Blake, breakfast is ready! Come on!" Ada's voice echoed through the house, breaking our spell.

"Damn it," Tommy mumbled, reluctant to leave the comfort of our cocoon. I sighed and climbed out of bed, slipping into my clothes as the aroma of breakfast wafted up the stairs. As I made my way downstairs, I grabbed a slice of toast, savoring the crunch against the soft chew as I washed it down with a warm cup of coffee. I could feel Tommy's gaze on me, a silent admiration that made my heart flutter.

After breakfast, I stepped out of the house, knowing I had duties to attend to for the Peaky Blinders. The streets were bustling as I moved through them, taking care of business. Hours seemed to pass in a blur, and I hurried back, my heart racing as I opened the door to the betting room, my instincts kicking in.

"Coppers are here! Hide our stash!" I instructed, adrenaline fueling my movements as we quickly concealed our operations. I stepped outside, lighting a cigarette and watching as the police entered the bar, my heart pounding in my chest. Eventually, they left, and I sighed in relief.

"They're gone," I called out, returning to my duties. Once everything was settled, I made my way back home, seeking the solace of my own space. Climbing the stairs, I found the house eerily quiet, and Tommy was nowhere in sight. I lit a few cigarettes, the smoke curling around me like a ghost till sleep overtook me.

I drifted into a deep slumber, the world slipping away. Hours later, I felt the bed shift as Tommy climbed in beside me, stirring me from my dreams.

"Mmm," I murmured, still groggy.

"Sorry, didn't mean to wake you," he whispered, his voice warm and soft.

I peeked out the window, realizing it was night. Tommy lay on his back, and I turned to nestle against his chest, feeling the steady beat of his heart beneath me. He leaned down, pressing his lips to mine in a tender kiss.

"I don't think I've ever felt this way with anyone. I'd kill for you," Tommy confessed, the intensity of his words sending shivers down my spine.

As he continued to kiss me, the world outside faded into nothingness, leaving just the two of us wrapped in our own bubble of warmth. He paused, his fingers finding their way into my hair, and I closed my eyes, surrendering to the comfort and intoxicating scent of him. Before long, I drifted back into sleep, cocooned in the warmth of his presence, where nothing else mattered.
