~Third Person Point of View~

2 years earlier

"So, let me get this straight, your plan is to go to another universe, to the past to prevent your parents from meeting somehow? And you freaking think that's gonna solve your problems?" Sarah the best friend of Afra said.

"YES, YES YES to all the questions. This is gonna work mark my words." Afra said while sounding the most determined she had ever sounded

"Afra honey, do you need help? I mean I get it. It's frustrating living there but have you, respectfully, lost your whole goddamn mind?" Sarah being concerned said.

"What the hell dude? You think I lost my mind? You'll see when your best friends become world famous for her invention. I'll make the time machine."

"Dude, do whatever you know I'll always support you, just don't die or go crazy because of this"

Present time

So that's what Afra did, invent the time machine. For two years she had been stealing well acquiring data from Harvard, MIT and many other top universities who had been working on time travel. She had been collecting data from black market and learning a lot of stuff she didn't know even existed.

But after two years of hard work today was the day, she was achieving her goals. She was supposed to show her design to the professors and get some funds to make the machine. But of course, her parents could not let her do that in peace either.

When she couldn't get the funding she needed, Afra started hunting for cheaper options. Being the tech whiz she was, she didn't let that stop her. Instead, she figured out how to code the whole machine right on her phone. It wasn't the most conventional approach, but it worked, and it saved her a ton of money.

"Afra when 2 years ago you told me your plan, I should have understood you've lost your mind, silly me i just thought you were cooking up some crazy theory for your next story. Now you're telling me you were dabbling in the dark net gathering info which according to you came from your professor and now that you've achieved something this big you actually plan to go back in the past and in a sense erase your existence instead of living happily of the patent money, you're gonna get for this." Sarah started yapping from the other side of the phone. Well, she can be quite a handful sometimes.

"Why don't you trust me when I said I did it? It works and I know all the dates and places I need to be to prevent them from meeting. Which are not a lot only one."

"Afra...."

"No listen to me. They met in 1993 the day ammu was moving away so if I can manage, they never meet that day that means they won't even know about each other thus preventing them to ever getting married. HAHAHA"

"I think she lost it. Ok you know what fine I trust you. Just don't do anything stupid and don't die."

"Sarah when am I ever being stupid? anyways I gotta go and prepare my thing for travel tomorrow."

"Always...and yeah be safe."

On one side Afra was jumping with excitement and then there's Sarah ripping her hair out thinking what shit Afra might land herself into coz the intrusive Afra can quite literally do anything.
