s they pulled away from the kiss, Riddhima's heart raced, a mix of exhilaration and uncertainty swirling inside her. She looked into Vansh's eyes, searching for any signs of hesitation or regret, but all she saw was warmth and desire. "Wow," she breathed, still caught up in the moment. "That was... unexpected."

Vansh chuckled softly, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "I hoped you wouldn't mind. I've wanted to do that for a while."

Her cheeks flushed as she tried to gather her thoughts. "I didn't think you felt that way about me. I mean, with everything going on in your life..."

His expression turned serious again. "Riddhima, I don't want to hide who I am from you, but it's complicated. I come from a world where trust is scarce, and my life isn't exactly normal."

The mention of his world sent a shiver down her spine. She felt a flicker of apprehension at the thought of the darkness he hinted at, but she also felt a strong pull towards him. "What do you mean by 'complicated'?"

"I'm involved in things that could put you in danger if you're not careful," he admitted, his voice low. "But I promise I'll do everything to keep you safe. You mean too much to me to let anything happen to you."

Riddhima's heart softened at his concern. "I appreciate that, but I need to know the whole truth, Vansh. If we're going to explore this... whatever this is between us, I can't be in the dark."

He nodded, grappling with the conflict of wanting to share his life with her while protecting her from the truth. "I will tell you, but only when I know you're ready for it. Right now, I just want to enjoy this moment with you."

Her heart ached at his words. "And what about the future? Can we really have a future together if you're involved in something dangerous?"

"That's what I want to figure out," he replied, his eyes earnest. "I'm not asking you to dive into my world blindly. I just need a chance to show you who I can be outside of that life."

Riddhima took a deep breath, trying to sort through her feelings. "Okay, I'm willing to give you that chance. But you need to promise me that you'll be honest about everything-no more secrets."

"Promise," he said, sealing it with a gentle squeeze of her hand. "And if at any point you feel uncomfortable or want to walk away, you can. I won't hold it against you."

The sincerity in his voice brought her a measure of comfort. "Thank you, Vansh. I just want to make sure we're both on the same page."

As the tension between them lingered, he leaned in again, brushing his lips against hers, igniting a spark of passion. Riddhima kissed him back, feeling the heat of the moment wash over her. She wanted to lose herself in him, even as doubts flickered in the back of her mind.

Suddenly, the sound of a phone buzzing broke the spell, and they both pulled away reluctantly. Riddhima glanced at her phone, seeing a message from her friend asking where she was. "I should probably head back," she said reluctantly, feeling the pull of reality.

"Let me walk you," Vansh offered, standing up and offering her his hand. She took it, feeling the warmth of his grip, and they walked side by side, the night air charged with unspoken words.

As they reached her car, Riddhima turned to him, a mixture of hope and fear in her eyes. "So, what happens next?"

Vansh leaned against her car, a confident smile playing on his lips. "Next, we keep exploring this connection. I'll take you out on that date, and you can get to know the real me-beyond all the complications."
