The next day at the university, everything seemed to be going smoothly until the biology teacher made an important announcement. "Listen up, everyone! For our new project, you will each work with partners," she said, catching everyone's attention.

She continued, "Shruti will be with Rahul, Ishani will work with Aviaan, Sia will partner with Shrutika, and Sanjana will team up with Vansh."

Riddhima's heart sank when she heard that Sanjana was paired with Vansh. She knew he had a tough reputation, and the thought of working with him made her nervous. Just as she was trying to process this news, Sanjana suddenly exclaimed, "I don’t want to do this project with Vansh!"

The teacher looked at Sanjana with a raised eyebrow. "Alright, if that's the case, we’ll switch the partners. Riddhima, you will work with Vansh, and Sanjana will be with Mishti."

Riddhima's eyes widened in surprise, and she opened her mouth to protest, but the teacher quickly cut her off. "No ifs and buts!" she insisted firmly.

Sia couldn't help but giggle at the sudden change, while Ishani rolled her eyes in annoyance, clearly unimpressed by the whole situation. Meanwhile, Vansh stood at the back of the class with a smirk on his face, looking amused by the unexpected turn of events. Riddhima felt a mix of anxiety and curiosity as she realized she would be working closely with someone like him.

During the next period, Vansh casually approached Riddhima. "Hey," he said, leaning against the desk with an indifferent expression. "I don’t know this damn freakin’ topic. Get up, Sia."

Sia looked surprised but didn’t argue. Instead, she quietly got up from her seat next to Riddhima and walked away. Just before she left, Sia turned back and winked at Riddhima, who felt her cheeks flush with confusion. Riddhima couldn’t help but roll her eyes at the playful gesture.

Vansh then plopped down into Sia’s chair, turning his attention to Riddhima. "So, tell me, dude, what is this all about? Come out of your lala land!" His tone was teasing, but there was a hint of seriousness in his voice.

Riddhima glanced at him, unsure of how to respond. "Um, well, we’re supposed to study the human body for our project," she explained hesitantly. She felt a mix of irritation and intrigue at Vansh's casual demeanor.

Vansh raised an eyebrow, clearly unimpressed. "Right, right. But can you actually help me? I don’t want to fail this thing," he said, crossing his arms.

Riddhima took a deep breath, realizing that despite his tough reputation, he was asking for help. "Sure, I can help you," she replied, trying to sound confident. "Let’s start with the basics."

Vansh leaned in closer, his curiosity piqued. "Alright, then. Lead the way."

Riddhima took a deep breath and began explaining the basics of the human body, trying to keep her thoughts organized. "So, first, we need to cover the major systems—like the circulatory system, respiratory system, and..."

As she spoke, Vansh leaned back in his chair, a smirk playing on his lips. "Wow, Riddhima, I didn’t know you were such a nerd," he teased, his eyes glinting with mischief. "You sound like you’re ready to give a lecture. Should I take notes?"

Riddhima felt her cheeks flush with embarrassment. "I’m just trying to help you pass this project, okay?" she shot back, trying to sound annoyed but unable to hide a smile.

Vansh chuckled. "Help me pass? Is that your secret plan? You know, I thought you were just another pretty face, but it looks like you’ve got brains too." He leaned closer, resting his chin on his hand, pretending to be genuinely impressed.

Riddhima rolled her eyes, trying to ignore the compliment. "Just pay attention, Vansh. This stuff is important. If you don’t get it, you’ll really struggle during the presentation."
