A week had passed since Sophie resolved to embody the Moonlark, and she dove into training with relentless determination. The schedule at Nayaville had become her new routine: battle training from 6 to 10 a.m., breakfast, studies, and technology sessions that tested her patience more than her skills.

Every morning at 6 a.m., the training bell rang through the halls. Sophie rose with a sense of purpose, shaking off thoughts of her old life. Battle training consumed her mornings, where she honed her combat skills and strategies alongside her teammates.

"Come on, Soph! Let's see that Moonlark spirit!" Jay shouted during a sparring session, his bright red hair a wild halo as he dodged her strikes. Sophie grinned, feeling the rush of adrenaline. "You're not ready for this!" she shot back, lunging forward and executing a series of quick jabs that caught him off guard. "Nice!" he laughed, clearly impressed. "You've really stepped it up these last few days."

After a few hours of intense training, they transitioned to breakfast, and Sophie grabbed a quick meal, still buzzing from the drills. As they sat together, the atmosphere was charged with excitement and a hint of rivalry. "Did you see Fable's new recruit? They think they can take us down," Jay said, loading his plate with food. "Let them think that," Will replied, her trademark smirk in place. "We'll show them what real training looks like." Dow, sitting between them, chimed in with a lighter tone. "Just remember, we need to focus on our teamwork, not just beating them."

After breakfast, it was time for studies, but Sophie dreaded this part of the day. The subject was the history of the elven world, a topic that bored her to tears. She struggled to keep her eyes open as they delved into complex timelines and ancient conflicts, feeling like she was wasting precious time. "Seriously, who cares about what happened a thousand years ago?" Will muttered under her breath, glancing over at Jay, who was equally unimpressed. "Right? Give me a break," he whispered back, stifling a laugh. Sophie was just as bored but secretly she knew that this information and knowledge was actually vital to know for defeating the neverseen.

At 1 p.m., they shifted back to battle training, and Sophie felt her spirit reignite. This was where she thrived, surrounded by the rhythm of sparring and strategy. No more history lessons—just pure,  combat. "Let's see you all channel your inner warriors!" she called to her team who where already at their green mat, adrenaline pumping through her veins as they launched into drills.

After their final training session, they moved to technology building, a part of the day that tested her patience. Sophie struggled with the intricate gadgets and designs, often feeling out of her depth. She preferred the immediacy of battle over the tediousness of building. "I'm terrible at this," she admitted, frustration bubbling to the surface as she fumbled with a gadget. "You'll get the hang of it," Dow encouraged, offering a kind smile. "Just take it one step at a time." "Or we can just focus on what we're good at—fighting!" Sophie replied, her competitive edge surfacing again. "Speak for yourself." Will muttered Sophie wish she could tell her like your any better but sadly she was better she was currently building a bracelet that was secretly a communicator, thinking about it Sophie was actually really glad Will was on her team as annoying as she is she was incredibly talented, like all her new friends, and if she wasn't on their team they would be deep underwater.

As they gathered for free time, Sophie used the hour to strategize, her mind buzzing with plans for the skills game still eight weeks away. The thought of it both excited and terrified her. "Tomorrow, we should focus on our best combat moves," Sophie suggested during dinner, her eyes sparkling with determination. "We need to sharpen our skills and work on our timing." "Agreed!" Jay replied, his enthusiasm infectious. "Let's dominate Fable when the time comes." "Just don't forget to have some fun in the process," Dow added with a laugh, her warmth making the tension feel lighter.

As laughter filled the room, Sophie felt a sense of belonging grow stronger. She was no longer just Sophie Foster; she was a fighter, a leader, and a vital part of this team. As the day came to a close, Sophie prepared for the challenges ahead. The skills game might still be weeks away, but each moment of training brought her closer to embracing her true self—the Moonlark, ready to rise and conquer.

Sophie wished she felt as confident as she did in the day when she was in her room at night with no light there was no shadow with no shadow there was Sophie Foster and unfortunatly the backpack full of stuff didn't happen to come with a bright blue elephant wearing a hawainen shirt, so with a sigh she lied in her bed and looked up at the roof with nothing to do she was stuck with her thaughts and memories of old friends, family... a serten blond boy with a crooked smile and ice blue NOPE! she shut all those memories in her deal with this later box and closed her eyes going in a restless dreamless sleep.
