Chapter 19

*Sabrina's POV*

I woke up this morning with a lot on my mind. I've been checking the mail all this week and it was now Thursday. I got out of the bed and brushed my teeth.

I washed my face then put on some sweatpants and a tank top. I walked downstairs and went into the kitchen. My mom had a pot of coffee going so I poured me some coffee.

I grabbed my coffee creamer out the fridge. It was the Cinnabon flavored. I poured it into my cup then mixed it. I leaned on the counter and drank my coffee.

"Hey honey." My mom walked in and kissed my forehead.

"Hey mom." I replied.

"Did you check the mail this morning?" She asked pouring herself a cup of coffee.

"Not yet. I will later tho." I drunk the rest of my coffee.

"Okay. Well, I'm off to work. Call me and let me know if anything happens." She said.

"Okay mom."

"Love you honey."

"Love you too." I heard the door close.

I put my cup in the sink and walked upstairs to get my phone. I grabbed my phone and slid on my slides. I walked back downstairs and outside to the mail box. I checked the mail and there was mail.

I grabbed the mail and walked back into the house I went through the mail. Adriana Rodriguez. Adriana Rodriguez. Sabrina Rodriguez.

I sat the other mail aside from the others and tore open the seal pulling the piece of paper out of the envelope. I unfolded the piece of paper and it read:

Dear Sabrina Rodriguez,

We truly are glad you contacted us. We are happy to accept you into our college. We have included a plane ticket to fly out by Wednesday May 13th just to get your schedule ready, show you around campus and give you a dorm. We are happy to welcome you to the family.

I grabbed my phone and immediately called Ronnie.

"Come on. Pick up." I mumbled.

"Hello?" He answered.

"Ronnie?"

"What's wrong?" He asked.

"I got a letter back." I said still looking at the letter.

"Which college?" He asked.

"New York."
