Chapter 2

"Hey honey ! How was your day ?" I was walking into the house and my mom was sitting on the couch watching tv .

"It was good . How about yours ?" I flopped down on the couch next to her and took a deep breath .

"It was great . Im getting a raise next week !" She was so excited because her boss never gives raises .

"That's great mom !" I gave her a huge hug and just sat there for a second .

"Meet any new friends ?"

"Yeah ," I sat up and turned my body facing her . "I met this girl Named Jessica who is really nice , and these boys named Paul , Tray , Khayman , Chris , Derek , and Ronnie ."

"Wow , just one girl and 6 boys ." She looked at me a certain way then smiled .

"Yep . I'm supposed to go hang out with some of them later on . I just have to wait until Jess texts me and tells me what time ."

"Ohh . Okay ."

"Yeahh ," my phone started to ring . "Ill be right back." I got up and left the living room .

"Hello ?"

"Hey girl . It's Jess . Were gonna go at 8 ."

I looked at the time and it was 4.

"Ok . Sounds great !"

"Okay girl . See you later ."

"Alright . Byee ."

I hung up the phone and went upstairs to my room . I might as well get this homework done before tonight .

*7:25 p.m.*

I already took my shower and everything and I decided to leave my hair wet instead of straightening it . Since I had a lot of nationalities in me my hair was naturally curly and long . If you were wondering my dad's side is Puerto Rican and Cuban. and my mom's side is Italian , Puerto Rican and Black . I also had really deep dimples . My mom and dad both have dimples but mine are deeper than theirs .

I put on clean bra and panties . I put on some baby pink , gray , and beige geometric leggings , with a gray sweatshirt , baby pink scarf and baby pink uggs . I also threw on some gray pearl earnings . I went into the bathroom and put on some eyeliner and mascara . I also grabbed my eos lip balm and put some of that on . I grabbed my phone and I had 3 text messages . They were from Paul , Tray , and an unknown number . I replied to Tray and Paul first but then I looked at the unknown number and it said , 'Hey it's Ronnie .' I saved his number and texted back .

Me: Hey . I'm on my way .

I locked my phone and went downstairs . I grabbed the car keys but my mom wasn't downstairs . She must've got called into work again . I saw a note on the door and it read :

Hey honey . I didn't know if you were sleep or not but I got called into work again . Don't forget to lock the doors and turn off all the lights . Call me if you need anything . Love you !

I got a text message and it was from Ronnie .

Ronnie: Okay . See you there .

I shut off all the lights and walked out the door . I got in the car and drove to the bowling alley . 5 minutes later I was getting a phone call and it was from Tray .

"Hey Tray !"

"Sabrina ! What you doing tomorrow ?"

"Nothing that I know of . Why wassup ?"

"I was wondering if you wanted to go to the beach ."

"Sure ! Sounds great ."

"Okay . Just text me your adress and I'll pick you up tomorrow ."
