TW: Torture

The origin of stars...

Many of us wonder how they come into being. And she knows the answer. Nebulae are so large that, even at very low atomic densities, they block the passage of light. And these nebulae can collapse in on themselves and then heat up, due to their own weight. There's even talk of stars giving birth. If you're lucky, you'll be born a star. Such is the case with Hucral. Born of the stars and the universe, she achieved immortality without question. However, she was not the first to receive this opportunity, but rather the second. The person who had the honor of being here before Hucral was called Estheral, and she had pledged to treat the next newborn as if it were her own child. Indeed, she had discovered that immortals cannot procreate. Estheral was saddened by this news. She decided to take Hucral under her protection. Well, from the outside at least, for this child had astounding powers. She could create black holes, control stars and time, and most importantly, manipulate souls. Realizing this, Estheral quickly realized just how dangerous Hucral could be. She then considered the possibility that other future stars could be just as devastating. That's why she decided to blow up hundreds of thousands of stars. As she was the first, the chosen one, she could only control the stars, for as new stars appeared, each would have more powers. She had come to this conclusion by observing Hucral. To prevent her from threatening her adoptive mother in the future, she resolved to control her. After all, she was a star. So, from an early age, Hucral used her powers to pulverize nebulae, galaxies, that might have been future stars. She didn't quite understand why she had to do this, but it was her mother who asked her to, she was so kind, how could she say no.

As the years went by, Hucral decided to stop growing when she felt she had a large and healthy body. However, this didn't stop her from getting older, and although she made this decision on her own, Estheral still had an influence on her choice. She said that before, it was too early and after, it was forbidden, as we were beginning to develop the ability to see the world from another angle; something that was unthinkable for her mother, who wanted to manipulate her whatever the sacrifices.

Nevertheless, there's a problem. These two women were going to different planets to decide whether or not to destroy them. And through her actions, Hucral could observe the people around her. They were living beings, like her, but she couldn't feel the aura in them that she and her mother possessed. In time, she began to look at her mother with new eyes, filled with disgust and black hatred. When they left this planet, Hucral decided to confront the woman who had raised her with hypocritical love. Furious, Estheral wanted to strangle her adopted daughter and kill her. But she didn't stand a chance against her adopted daughter. She freed herself from her hold, dodging her enemy's useless attempts. She tackled her to the ground, blocking her breathing with her knee, and sucked out her soul.

She had never used this power before today, but unconsciously, she performed this action as if it were not the first time. Instinct, she told herself. Hucral saw her mother petrified, unable to make the slightest gesture. She had stolen her soul, but that wasn't enough for her. In a fit of madness, she tore out her eye sockets and crushed them with her feet, ripping off her skin to dismember her and break every bone in her body. Hucral took her mother's head and smashed it against the floor, again and again, until her skull was reduced to dust. She stopped her massacre, out of breath. She told herself she should have done this to her before she killed her. After committing her atrocious act, she couldn't figure out what emotion she was feeling at that moment. She couldn't put a name to it, until she remembered someone she knew from her travels. She was angry.

Anger...

Yes, Hucral felt anger.

And she was going to unleash it on everything. She set fire to what was left of this unrecognizable woman's corpse, leaving her with a light spirit and not an ounce of guilt. She went on to destroy entire civilizations in her turn. She had suffered for thousands of years, for decades, unable to express her emotions without being beaten bloody. She would return the favor to all those who had known the happiness she had not. When nebulae reappear after millions and millions of years, she instantly annihilates them. Nothing in life is black or white, but Hucral didn't care, she destroyed everything in her path. Over time, she earned herself a nickname from the inhabitants of the planets still spared, which reached her ears.
