The sun was setting on Maplecrest, a small but quiet town in the Canopy Kingdom. The leaves were falling from the trees, the ice cream truck was blaring as it drove down the street, and families were living peacefully in their houses. One of these families consists of a couple named Marcus and Amelia.

Inside the household, the lovely couple were cooking dinner for tonight. Their teenage daughter Filia left to have a playdate with her friend Carol, or "hanging out" as she likes to call it, kids sure grow up too fast.
Amelia was in the kitchen cooking dinner for the night, wearing a pink apron that hugged her upper curves.
Little did she know, a certain someone was sneaking up from behind her.
"Hey honey," her husband said, which caught her by surprise.
"Oh it's just you," Amelia gasps, relieved. She held her hand to her chest, "you scared me."
"Sorry about that," Marcus chuckled. "What's for dinner tonight?"
"We're having Fettuccine Alfredo," Amelia showed him the pot.
"Can't wait, your cooking is always deliziosa," he flattered his wife.
Amelia blushed at his compliment, then a thought processed into her mind.
"You know dear, our sweet daughter won't be back until later," she told her husband with a sly grin. "How about I finish cooking here," she then whispered seductively in his ear, "then you and I can get it on?"
Marcus' body was heating up at that statement. "That's an absolutely perfect idea," Marcus responded before giving his wife a peck on the lips. "I'll let you finish over here, and I'll be sitting on the couch real patient."
Amelia smirked as her husband started to walk towards the living room, giving her motivation to finish her dish.
As Marcus sat down on the couch, he began to go deep into his thoughts.
You see, his family has a little secret(which everyone in town seems to know of much to his misfortune); they are part of the Medici's, the mafia that has a stranglehold over sections of the Canopy Kingdom. Marcus hated what they were doing, so he cut ties with them forever. Unfortunately, his past always seems to haunt him, whether in the forms of nightmares or strangers harassing him and his family on the streets.
That's why he's super grateful for his family who supports him every step of the way. His snarky but sweet daughter, his mysterious but loyal dog, but most importantly, his feisty but loving wife.
After a couple of minutes that felt like an eternity, Amelia finished cooking their dinner for later. "Voilà!" She exclaimed, proud of herself for what she accomplished, while also in anticipation for what's to come next.
Her body was trembling in excitement as she walked towards her husband. "I'm done," she said in a low sultry voice as she got her man's lap and took his glasses off.
