Red after many years, was finally able to fulfill one of her wishes. She had finally managed to join the basketball club and could finally participate in the games that the club had.
Today I was one of them, and the first one who would play. So to say that I was nervous, it was little. Literally, this was his debut game, so her hands were sweaty, as he bit his nails.
Jay, the boy who gave her some advice and was also part of the club, approached her and gave her words of encouragement. Jay was a professional in that area, and she felt really grateful for the advice and words of the elder.
When I go out on the court, I look at the audience. All of her school was screaming for her team. She sighed looking for Chloe with her eyes. When she found her she couldn't help laughing.
The curly was jumping, while shouting her name. With a sign in her hand and his cheeks painted in the color of her team. Next to her was Jane, a friend of theirs. She looked embarrassed by the effusiveness that Chloe showed.
The game began and the screams did not stop.
A few minutes after it was over, Red scored once again, leaving her team as the winner. Everyone was shouting celebrating.
Red was happy, but something was missing.
She turned around, seeing how Chloe came in her direction, running with a smile, while shouting her name. I don't know, I was surprised when the shortest one threw herself on top of him. It was a custom that Chloe had adopted.
Red had won, but the only thing that mattered to her now was to be hugged with her best friend.
