Tsunami swam slowly through the river, creeping closer and closer to her target. This was the most important moment of her life. The giant red dragon stood only a few feet away. But as she prepared to execute the plan, huge red talons slammed down into the water. Tsunami had been caught. She closed her eyes and braced for impact, but it never came. She opened her eyes and saw Kestrel grabbing a fish who swam into the cave. Tsunami's heart rate slowed down a bit, but she realized this was the moment. It was now or never. She came up to the surface, lifted her oversized tail into the air, and slammed it into the water with an enormous splash, drenching Kestrel in the process. The tiny dragonet dissolved into giggles as she dived back under water. Mission accomplished. She thought.
