close enough

My heart was beating out of my chest. I was stuck to Cat. My hands were stuck to hers. Our faces were inches away from each other.

"Um, so now what do we do?" I whispered because we were so close. I really hoped my breath was ok.

"I guess we wait for Jade and Tori to show up with the stuff." Cat whispered to me. Her breath smelt like vanilla coffee. Very nice.

We fell silent. Both of us tried to not make eye contact but it was close to impossible being this close. I turned my head a little and got a whiff of her hair. Oh my God did she smell good. It was like a strawberry field. I wasn't aware of it but I was putting my nose in her hair. I pulled my head back and caught her smiling at me.

"Uh, your hair smells nice." I tried to play it off.

"My turn!" She giggled and began to smell my hair. She was so freaking close to me now!

"Mmmmmm. Your hair smells like bacon and Sam." She smiled and her eyes had a sexy smoky look to them.

"Sam?" I asked. "What does Sam smell like?"

"Oh, you know. Your natural smell mixed with bike oil and root beer and chicken." She was starting to blush. "I love the smell. It's my favorite smell in the world. Sometimes I smell your pillow just to smell it."

I didn't know she liked how I smelled. I was starting to blush.

"Well you have a scent too." I said in a low voice.

"Oh tell me what I smell like!" She bent her head back showing me her long lovely neck. I had to move my nose to it. It was like a magnet, I was just drawn to her. My nose and cheeks moved slowly up and down her soft neck. I whispered on her soft tan skin.

"You smell like roses and bibble and rainbows and the beach." I trailed off as my nose made its way up her neck to her ear. My lips were so close to her neck.

"Rainbows don't have a smell silly." She said in a very sleepy almost far away voice. Slowly I lifted my face out of her neck.

Our eyes met again. I was so warm I was afraid I would start sweating soon. I looked deep into her gorgeous big brown eyes. I could get lost in those babies. Our lips were almost touching.

"Sam?" She breathed.

"Yeah?" I whispered back. Our lips brushed as we talked. Hers were so smooth.

"Do you like girls?"

"I like one girl. A lot." Cat's eyes grew wide.

"Who?" She said with a little hurt in her voice.

I couldn't stand it anymore and kissed her hard. She seemed a little shocked at first but then her lips parted quickly. Our youngest explored each other's mouths. She tasted like strawberries too! Cat began to moan deep in her throat. She was pressing her body up against mine now. I couldn't believe it was happening! All those nights trying to sleep thinking about her. All those times watching her walk around swinging that cute little but of hers. Stealing looks at her legs when she would come out of the bathroom after  taking a shower wearing her pink towel. Now I was  finally kissing Cat Valentine and it felt so good and so right. This is all I ever wanted to do for the rest of my life and I wanted the moment to last forever.

Sure enough it didn't. There was a knock at the door and we stopped kissing. Cat looked out of breath, but she was smiling.

"Knock knock." She said in a sexy voice.

The door opened and it was Tori and Jade.

"We interrupting something?" Jade had a smirk on her face and she was shaking a plastic bottle of clear liquid in her hands.

Tori took the bottle from her and pulled Cat and I into the kitchen by the sink.

"OK let's get you guys unstuck." Tori said. She poured the liquid over our hands and almost immediately we were apart.

"Thanks." I muttered.

"Yay!" Cat jumped up and down. "I have to pee!" And with that she ran out of the room to go to the bathroom. Leaving me standing there with Jade and Tori.

"So.... what's new?" Jade smirked at me. I wanted to wipe that smirk off her face.
