The Job

Sara went back home feeling like the worst person ever. How could she puke on such a hotshot.

"How was it?" Cindy asked ready for an answer.

" How was what?" Sara asked.

"I know you didn't leave the bar to sob. So tell me. Who is he?" Cindy asked again.

"He's Max. He's really good looking. His body is perfect. He took me to his beautiful place and I picked on his shirt".

"Eww, was he that bad?"

"No, he's good and I was really drunk"

"What after you did that"Cindy made a disgusted face.

"He helped me clean up. He said he was gonna grab a glass of water for me but I was too embarrassed to stay"

"I would have done the same thing" realisation dawn on Cindy "What about Sam?. You guys are still together right"

"Fuck me" Sara started pacing around. " I cheated on my boyfriend of five years for a stranger who I will probably never meet. I'm officially the worst ex ever. The movie on Netflix was definitely made for me"

Cindy laughed "Even at this moment you are cracking jokes. "

Sara was still pacing around.

"Stop moving, you are making me dizzy. Anyways you were drunk and people do silly stuff when drunk. You are not the first. And you and the stranger didn't do much. Sam doesn't need to know about this." Cindy ended.

"You are right. It was a mistake. I was drunk."

The next morning, Sara woke up with the worst hangover ever. She checked her phone to see if Grace or Sam texted or called but they didn't. She checked her email and she got one for Smith's corporation saying she has the job.

This has to be the best news ever. She ran to Cindy's room forgetting to knock. There was a guy in there with a towel wrapped around his waist.

Sara quickly looked away.
"Didn't your folks teach you how to fucking knock" he yelled.

"I'm sorry" Sara left the room.

She thought it might have been Cindy's boyfriend because he sometimes spent the night.

Cindy and her boyfriend came out of the room and he was still obviously annoyed.

"Babe,you didn't tell me you were living with people with no manners" he told Cindy referring to Sara

"I already said sorry. I had something important to tell you and I didn't know you had company" Sara said not acknowledging his rudeness.

"What is it?" Cindy asked rubbing her eyes.

"I got the job " Sara said jumping with joy, Cindy joined and we both were screaming with joy.

"Yayyy she got the job" Cindy's boyfriend said sarcastically " Can you both stop screaming now" he added.

"Sara, this is my boyfriend,Mark. Mark,meet Sara,my friend from back home" Cindy introduced us.
