Hey little pookies, this chapter is again not in anyone's pov. So let's dive into the journey of "Eshaara" (sign)

ESHAARA PYAAR KA
(A sign of love)

After the rescue ~

The night after Eshaan rescued Adira, both of them lay in bed, replaying the moment in their minds. Adira couldn't shake the warmth of Eshaan's embrace, the way his heart had raced as he held her close. She found herself smiling at the memory, her cheeks flushing. Meanwhile, Eshaan stared at the ceiling, his own face burning with embarrassment and happiness, recalling how brave he felt in that moment.

A New Day at School

The next morning, as the sun filtered through her curtains, Adira woke up feeling lighter and relaxed. She did her daily routine and got ready for school. As usual, Eshaan was standing at the front door, waiting for her. When their eyes met, a knowing smile passed between them, and she felt a flutter in her stomach. ( I would feel the whole zoo if I was at her place lol)

After the morning lessons, their teacher stood up with a bright smile, announcing, "Class, I have exciting news! We're going on a field trip next week!" The room was filled with cheers and excitement, but Adira's heart sank a little. She knew her parents would likely say no. (Just Indian parents things. you know?)

Convincing Her Parents: (Extreme level difficulty)

Later that day, when Adira returned home, she was determined to convince her parents. She started her pitch at dinner, recounting how much she had looked forward to the trip and how educational it would be. "Please, I really want to go! It'll be fun, and I'll stay safe!" she pleaded.

Her parents exchanged glances, her mother's expression skeptical. "You know we worry about you, Adira.

Just then, Eshaan arrived at her house, catching Adira by surprise. He had come to offer his support, so that they would send her. "Vidya aunty and uncle, I promise to take care of Adira. We'll look out for each other," he said sincerely. "It's a great opportunity for us to learn and have fun."

After a brief pause, Adira's father finally agreed, "Alright, as long as you two stick together. But remember, I expect you to take care of each other, especially you, Eshaan." Adira couldn't help but feel a rush of gratitude towards Eshaan, her heart thinking of the fun they are going to have on the trip.

After convincing her parents, they both went up stairs on the terrace. Lights twinkling like stars amongst the city of Udaipur . (Their houses are located on a little bit higher level, so they get a full view of the city from there)
The night was calm as Eshaan and Adira made their way to the terrace, the cool breeze tugging at their hair as they reached the top.
The city spread out before them, glimmering under the moonlight. From the terrace, Adira and Eshaan could see Udaipur's beauty in full bloom-the shimmering lakes, the twinkling city lights, and the quiet charm of the old, winding streets below. The distant Aravalli hills stood as silent guardians.

Adira took a deep breath, "Dekho na, Eshaan," (Look, Eshaan) she whispered, her eyes shining with wonder. "Kitna khoobsurat hai yeh sab."(This is so beautiful!)

Eshaan smiled, glancing at her, "Haan, behad khoobsurat ." ( Yes, very beautiful)

*(This scene is just so cute, I am blushing while writing this, I hope you're doing the same while reading 😭)*

They stayed that way, gazing out over the city, lost in the serene beauty of Udaipur's nightscape.

Adira leaning against the railing, her gaze drifting out over the rooftops.

Eshaan settled beside her, his shoulder just a breath away from hers as he, too, leaned against the fence. After a moment of silence, he spoke, his voice low. "Toh, finally... humne tere parents ko convince kar hi liya" ( Finally we convinced your parents)

Adira let out a soft laugh, glancing at him. "Haan, tum nhi aate toh nhi ho pata" (If you wouldn't have come then it might have not happened.)

He shrugged, looking away with a faint smile, but she noticed the hint of pride in his eyes. "Areyy, maine itna bhi kuch nhi kiya Bas thoda mera convincing... aur thoda tumhara determination," (I didn't even do that much, just a little convincing) he teased. "Tu jab kuch soch leti hai, toh kaun rok sakta hai?" (When you think of something, who can stop you?)

She laughed, nudging him lightly. "Yes, you're right."
"You should be going to sleep now, Eshaan" Adira added.

" Yes, you're right, we have school tomorrow, good night, Adira." Eshaan replied.

"Yes good night, I will also start packing for the field trip. Don't forget to bring a lot of snacks." Adira added with a grin on her face

"Yes, Ms Rathod " Eshaan said teasingly.

(If you want to see the visual representation of this scene I have posted it on ig @authordumb, it's in the highlights, also just imagine that the conversation was taking place on the terrace)

After that he went to his room from Adira's terrace, jumping over the little fencing between the terraces
Adira laughed at the sight of him trying to jump over the fence

Both went inside their rooms after that and dwell in the excitement of the trip.
