Chapter 2
“Taxi!” I screamed, one stopped and I got in. “Can you drive me to Vine Street?” I said handed him five dollars. “Sure”, he said with a smile. It wasn’t that far, but I wasn’t thinking about that I was thinking about his bright blue eyes and his smile but I cant, I mean I’m almost married and I cant think about know one else.
We were there I got out, “Thanks”, I said. “Of course,” he said with a smile again. He still wasn’t as cute as my fiancé. I think you guys should know that I only knew him for a month. I rang the doorbell. “Hi!, sweetie.” my mom said while giving me a hug.
“Hi, mom!” I said. “Hi Tiffany." I said not happy as I was to see my mom. “Hi sis” she said with a smile. Why does she still call me “sis” I guess that’s the word for her age now.
I saw my best friend from third grade, Leon Davis! “Hi Leo!” I said surprised to see him. “Hey Vic, nice to see you again!” he said really happy.
He gave me a big hug. “So I heard that your getting married tomorrow. “Yea then I’m moving to Scottsdale, afterwards.” I said unhappy because I might not see him again.
“Want to hang out today we might not see each other again?” he said. I smiled and said, “Sure, I’ll be happy to.” We walked out the front door and started talking about my marriage. “So who are you getting married to?” he said. “Davis Decoy.” I said . “Oh , Victoria Decoy, doesn’t sound good together, I like your original name better, Victoria Summers. “You’ll get used to it” I said smiling.
"How long have you knew the guy.” he said unsure. “ A month” I said as I muttered. “What?” he said putting his hands to his ears. “A month. I said out loud .
“Seriously”, he said with a laugh, I kind of like his laugh. “Yes, a month a whole month, we can get to know each other in a month!” I said laughing too. " I like your laugh”, he said. “Thanks.” I said. He started to hold my hand and I looked up to him and put my head on his shoulder.
