ALAINA'S POV
Avyaan and I were in my room right now. I was cleaning my closet and he was standing right behind me commenting on my cloths.
"Oh my goodness, why is it so tiny?" He said holding one of my crop tops. I swear it's a normal crop top and not at all tiny.
"It's not. Stop being dramatic" I said
"Give it away or something. You are never going to wear it" he said. I snatched the top from him and said
"Shut up. You are the last person who should tell me what to wear and what not to wear"
After half an hour of Avyaan commenting on my cloths and me getting annoyed, I was finally done arranging my cloths.
I then decided to study for a while. I went towards my study table and sat down to study.
"Are you studying?" Avyaan questioned
"No, I'm dancing" I said
"But you are sitting on your study table with books" he said
"Why are you so annoying? Please shut up for sometime and let me study" I said and he sighed and started scrolling through his phone.
(1 hour later)
"Alaina, dad has called me for some work so I'll have to go but one of our really great allies and friends son Ronit will come and look after you got a bit." Said Avyaan. Oh no
"I'm not a child that needs looking after" I said
"I know but please adjust for a bit. We can't leave you alone" he said and I nodded
"Great. He will be here in 5mins, I'll be back as soon as possible" he said
Soon, Ronit came into my room but I ignored him and continued to study. Avyaan and him talked for a bit and Avyaan bid me bye and left.
"Hey" Ronit said but I ignored
"So you're not going to talk to me?" He questioned but I did not answer. He sighed and came towards my table. He turned my chair to face him and kneeled down in front of me.
"Please love, don't ignore me. I know it's my fault, I shouldn't have left but everything was messed up at the time. I was scared that someone from our rivals will harm you in order to harm me because you are my only weakness . I did not want to loose you forever but now I understood that you're not my weakness but my strength. You're my light in this dark world." He said
"I'm not asking you to forgive me. I'm just asking for a chance to prove that I love you and will never leave you again. Please give me that one chance. I promise I won't fail. Please baby I can't live without you anymore." He added his voice breaking in the last line. Tears were welled up in his eyes.
"Okay. You have one chance to prove your love. But if you fail, it's all over" I said and he gave me his million dollars smile. Oh how I wish that I could kiss him but I can't forgive him not until I'm fully sure that he won't leave me ever again.
"I won't fail love. I promise" he said
"So Confident" I said
"Mhm. I'm ready for any challenge you throw in front of me. And also be ready for all the pampering and the princess treatment baby girl." He said
"Let's see" I said
"I'll be back. Give me a second" he said and ran out. He came back with a bouquet of red roses, My favourite flowers and knelt down in front of me.
"Will you go on a date with me tomorrow Miss Alaina Malhotra" he said with flowers in one hand and my hand in his other. I thought about it and said
"Yes but what are you going to tell my father and brothers. Also there is someone behind me, it's not safe going out I think" I said
"Oh baby girl I'll protect you with my life. Also we will have a lot of security so don't worry about the safety part. And as for you're family, I'll deal with them" he said
"Oh deal with them. They are going to whip your ass" I said and he chuckled and pecked my lips.
"Hey no being touchy touchy" I scolded
"No can do baby girl" he said in his husky voice.
"I'll tell my family" I said
"You sure" he said
"Yup. I know how to deal with them" I said
"Okay then" he said. He got up and kept the bouquet on the table. He then picked me up bridal style from the chair and sat on the chair with me on his lap.
"Hey leave me" I said trying wiggling out of his hold
"Never" he said and tightened his hold on me. Eventually I gave up and sat in his lap with my head on his chest with him running his hands through my hair.
"Did you know that I would say yes and that's why you bought flowers?" I questioned
"Well I was not entirely sure but in case you said yes, I was fully prepared for asking you out on a date." He said and I hummed.
We sat there in silence with me on his lap and my head on his chest with him running his fingers through my hair. Soon I felt my eyes drooping. I felt Ronit picking me up and putting me on the bed. He then pecked my forehead and said
"I love you baby girl" I smiled and soon was out like light.
(Few hours later)
I felt someone shaking and I opened my eyes. I saw that the someone was none other than Arhaan.
"Wakey wakey princess. We have to go down for dinner" he said. Dinner time already. And I skipped lunch. Damnn
I got up and went down with Arhaan. We soon reached at the dinning room and I sat between Ahaan and Arhaan with father dearest opposite to me.
In the middle of the dinner I remembered something, I have to tell them about Ronit. Come on Alaina you can do it
"Ronit is was the ex boyfriend who left without saying anything but now we had a talk and I decided to give him another chance so we are going on a date tomorrow" I just threw it on there without any prior warning. Everyone sat in silence for 2mins and then the hell broke loose.
