Alpha Darius, Luna Nova, and Jake strode confidently into the grand ceremony hall, with Calypso and Silvia following closely behind. The hall was teeming with over 5000 pack members, some eyeing the humans with suspicion, while others looked on with awe and curiosity. The hum of conversations filled the air until the Alpha and the Luna took to the stage.

With a commanding presence, the Alpha's booming voice cut through the chatter, demanding silence. "Yesterday, we discovered two humans in the tropic highlands, having unintentionally arrived on our planet through a portal from Earth. I have decided to offer them sanctuary until they can find a way back to their world. As such, they will be welcomed into our pack. I call upon Calypso and Silvia to join us on stage for the ceremony." the Alpha announced, his words carrying the weight of authority and compassion. Calypso and Silvia nervously stepped onto the stage as Luna Nova approached them. "Do you promise to give your loyalty to the Moonlight pack?" she asked in her angelic voice. "Yes, we do." they replied simultaneously. "Do you promise that you will not reveal anything about our world to humans?" she continued. "Yes, we do." "Do you promise to treat the werewolves as your friends and respect your Alpha and Luna?" She asked. "Yes, we do." "Very well." she said, turning toward the pack. "Is there anyone who would object to our decision?" she continued. A girl raised her hand, and Jake clenched his jaw. "Go ahead." Luna Nova said, rolling her eyes. "Are we going to let weak humans join our pack? Today you are letting them join us, tomorrow you will let witches join us too." the young girl said in an annoying voice, and whispers filled the room. "Do not talk to our Luna like that." Jake said through gritted teeth. "I'm just telling you the future." she said. "No one asked you, so shut your mouth, Sabrina." Jake growled. "I, Luna Nova of Moonlight Pack, grant you, Calypso and Silvia, permission to join the Moonlight Pack." Luna Nova finished, ignoring Sabrina, and the room filled with applause.
She motioned for them to display their right wrist. Both extended their hands, revealing a striking tattoo of a howling wolf. "As long as you're part of our pack, this mark will be on your wrist." she declared, leaning in closer. "Come with me." she whispered, leading them off the stage. Alpha Darius, Luna Nova, Jake, Calypso, and Silvia gathered around a round table. "This is your second home from now on." Luna Nova proclaimed, exuding beauty both inside and out. As they conversed, a woman sprinted toward them, her hand trembling as she reached the table for support. She gazed at Alpha and Luna, bowing her head in respect. "Alpha, my child..." She choked back tears. "Please, take a seat first." Luna Nova motioned to an empty chair. The woman sat down. "What happened to your child?" Alpha Darius inquired. "Her name is Shambhavi, and she's 14 years old. She went to the park for some fresh air last night, but she never returned" the woman said, wiping her tears. "She has brown eyes and hair." That last sentence grabbed Calypso's attention. "Brown eyes and hair?" She mumbled and leaned closer to Silvia who was sitting on her right. "That girl also had brown eyes and hair." she whispered. "Which girl?" Silvia whispered back. "The one who was kidnapped by that magical werewolf." Calypso whispered again, but the werewolves heard them clearly because of their powerful senses. "Kidnapped by a magical werewolf?" Alpha Darius frowned. "Yes, we saw a werewolf with glowing eyes throwing her into a portal." Calypso said. "Must be the rogues." Luna Nova said and turned towards the woman. "You may leave now. We assure you that we will find Shambhavi." The woman nodded and left the table. "I have a question." Silvia said, capturing everyone's attention. "Do werewolves possess magical abilities?" Alpha Darius let out a heavy sigh before responding, "Let me share some history with you. Werewolves and witches were once allies, but that changed when the witches betrayed us and sought to dominate our world. A brutal war erupted between our two creatures. Despite our ancestors managing to protect our home, many of them lost their lives and many learned to harness magic and became known as rogues. Our ancestors forbade werewolves from practicing magic, but their obsession led them to seek out witches for partnership. The witches manipulated them and turned them against us, believing we were their enemy. They began forcefully converting werewolves into rogues." He finished. "Those evil witches captured the souls of some of the most powerful werewolves of that time and kept them in an amulet, the amulet of souls." Jake said. "The war was instigated by an intimidating witch named Azaren, who sought to conquer our Influenza-59 but was defeated. Now, she is plotting to enslave humans." Luna Nova added.
There was silence until Calypso managed to ask "What?" "We need to find a way to go back to earth as soon as possible and tell everyone about it, Calypso!" Silvia panicked and Calypso got up. "But how!?" Calypso asked recovering from the shock. "Telling them will be of no use." Jack said calmly. Calypso and Silvia turned towards him. "What do you mean?" Calypso frowned. "You are just a normal girl of the human species. Do you think anyone will believe you if you tell them that witches are going to attack them or that werewolves are real and you have joined one of their packs? Not even your parents will believe you." Jake said. His words were harsh, but it was the truth. Who were they to stop a powerful witch? Who were they to make humans believe their words? Realization hit Calypso and she sat down slowly, and Silvia became quiet. "What should we do then? Watch our earth getting destroyed?" Silvia asked quietly. "Not at all, you need to stop them without letting humans know about our existence." Luna Nova said. "But we don't know how to fight." Calypso said. "We can teach you that. You can train with the pack warriors. And since you are in our pack, we will fight for you" Alpha Darius said. "It's time to end those witches." Jake said.
