Sara sat on the plush bed, surrounded by the dull gray walls of Rohi's cozy bedroom, The warm sunlight streaming through the window highlighted the excitement sparkling in Sara's brown eyes. "So, you've started preparations, haven't you?" Sara asked, her voice bubbling with enthusiasm, a hint of mischief dancing in her eyes.
Rohi, holding her phone, replied with a sheepish grin, "Preparations for what?" Her phone's screen glowed with unread messages, a flurry of wedding planning discussions. A faint blush crept up her cheeks.
"You've started preparing for Faiza Didi and Arham Bhai's wedding, right?" Sara asked, her eyebrows raised, her tone teasing.
Rohi murmured, "Hmmm," her eyes fixed on the phone screen, her thumbs hovering over the keyboard. A look of concentration furrowed her brow.
Sara snatched Rohi's phone, her hands swift and playful. "Have you started preparing or not?" Sara asked, her voice serious, her eyes narrowing.
Rohi's cheeks flushed deeper. "Oops, I didn't do it," she replied, her voice laced with embarrassment.
"So, when will you do it?" Sara asked, her tone mock-serious
Rohi thought for a moment, her brow furrowed. "Not now, but I'll buy a dress in two or three days." Her eyes sparkled with determination, a confident smile spreading across her face.
Sara's expression turned dramatic. "Rohi, the wedding is only 15 days away, and you haven't even bought a dress!" Her hands flew to her cheeks, her eyes wide with surprise.
Rohi reassured, "I'll buy the dress, and everything else will be done." Her smile radiated confidence.
Sara asked, her curiosity piqued, "Which side are you on, the bride's or the groom's?" Her head tilted, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
Rohi replied with a mischievous glint, "They're both my cousins, but I'm on the groom's side." Her lips curled into a sly smile.
Sara's eyes widened. "Aren't you on the bride's side?" Her voice rose in surprise.
Rohi clarified, "No, I'm not on the bride's side." Her expression turned serious.
Sara's face fell, concern etched on her features. "But why?" Her voice softened.
Rohi explained, her voice barely above a whisper, "Phuphu said so, and she also told me to stay at her house too." Her eyes dropped.
Sara spoke upsettingly, her voice trembling, "Okay, but I won't have enjoy without you." Her lower lip quivered.
Rohi agreed, her voice filled with empathy, "Yes, but Phuphu has told, and I can't disagree. She gets upset easily." Her eyes locked on Sara's.
Sara nodded solemnly, understanding etched on her face. "You're right; she does get upset quickly."
Rohi turned to Sara, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Rida was saying that some guests are coming to her house," she said, her voice bubbling with enthusiasm.
Sara's face lit up with interest."Yes, Rida's chachi who lives in Turkey will also come, and then all the other relatives," she said, her voice filled with anticipation.
Rohi nodded enthusiastically."Yes, now everyone will come because it will be the first wedding of the family," she said, a bright smile spreading across her face. Her hands clapped together in excitement.
Sara's voice trembled with excitement. "I was waiting for my sister's marriage for a long time, and I thought, when the marriage will happen, I will finally have enjoy," she said, her eyes shining with joy. Her face lit up with anticipation.
