Four - Kitty Café

i yawn, bored, j have no idea where that idiot went and i haven't been successful with any of my kills since that kid stopped me.

i remain hidden in the shadows, god there's so many people during the day, especially on Saturdays.

god this place is boorrriiinnggg. maybe i should see if i can take an extra shift today?

i sneak to the cat café and put my mask on and walk up to the counter.

"Hey Susan, any extra shifts for today i can take on?"

"sorry, not today Kz."

(you use a fake name at this café so that they don't know it's you)

"oh come on, nothing i can do?"

Susan sighs and nods.
"fine, one of the waitresses called in sick, just do your usual work."

"thanks Susan, i owe you one!"

Susan rolls her eyes and i go to the staff room where all the uniforms are stored in lockers. i unlock it and put my phone on charge and take out my uniform.

i put on my uniform, i always hated wearing this thing but it's cute so i'm not gonna complain.

i out my normal clothes back in my locker, locking it up and leaving, tying up my hair with a green ribbon.

"right, any orders currently?"

Susan nods and i take the paper from the notice, all orders are out on paper and placed on the notice. i go to the kitchen.

"right we need a hot chocolate with 3 marshmallows, and no extra sugar and a cookie and... oh, treats for the cats."

a few minutes later they hand me the tray and i walk out of the kitchen, checking what table number it is, 27.

i place down the tray.

"Mrreow! hope you enjoy our services!"

i still don't know why we have to say that every single time.

"uh, thanks. wait... kitty?"

fuck i know that voice, that's the kid who's room i broke into. just pretend i didn't hear them...

i go back to the counter, getting the next order and taking it to the kitchen.

"right we need 4 muffins, two blueberry, two plain, pumpkin pie and two of our classic milks!"

a few hours later, also i hope that chapter made you hungry for treats:

i'm no longer in my uniform but my normal clothes with my phone, i untie my hair and yawn, bored. i check my phone, no new messages as usual.

I leave the café, making sure to stay in the shadows.

"Hey wait up!"

They're probably talking to somebody else.

"It's Kz right?"

nope.
i stop walking and turn around, great it's that kid, why do i keep running into them?

"uh, can i help you?"

"you sounded way too much like that cat that snuck into my room a couple days ago!"

time to lie.

"oh, maybe it was the same kind as me, if it was a bengal it's going to sound similar!"

i'm a genius.

"well... ugh never mind, thanks for bringing the food out quickly though, most café's nearby take way too long."

"not a problem!"

god this kid is annoying.

"need anything else?"

he sighs.

"i know who you are, you're the person who managed to escape me a while ago."

he remembers? god now i have to kill him, he doesn't seem that bad but i can't let anybody know-

i mean it's not that bad...

my ears go down and my tail stops swishing.

"what are you doing?"

"yeah, you are the one who snuck in my room aren't you?"

"n-no!"

fuck, what the hell is going on, i NEVER stutter so why am i?

it's my opticians appointment at 3pm and i've been writing since 9am lol
