Acheron lay in the cool darkness, his breathing steady and deep. The comforting embrace of his wife, Raven, was the only warmth in the room, her naked form pressed against his, her soft curves fitting perfectly to his muscular frame. Her skin, cold and pale, was a stark contrast to his warm, living flesh. It was a constant reminder of her lineage, a gift from her father Hades, but it never ceased to amaze him how she could be so alive and yet carry the touch of the underworld.

He slowly traced his fingers along her spine, feeling the goosebumps rise as she stirred. She was always sensitive to his touch, especially when she was in a deep sleep. He couldn't help the smirk that played on his lips as he felt her respond to his caress. Her legs parted slightly, giving him the opening he needed to slide a hand between her thighs. She was already wet and ready for him, a silent invitation that he never refused.

"Acheron," she murmured sleepily, her eyes still closed.
"I know, my love," he whispered, placing gentle kisses along her neck. "It's never too early for us."

He shifted his weight, moving to cover her completely. The tip of his erection brushed against her slick entrance, and she arched her back, silently begging for more. He didn't disappoint, pushing into her with a slow, deliberate pressure that made her gasp. The feel of her tightness around him was like coming home after a long, hard day of fighting the monsters that stalked the night.

Acheron smiled as he heard the shower turn off, his thoughts immediately drifting to Raven. She was a force of nature, fiery and fiercely independent, yet she had a gentle side that only he got to see. He had to admit, he enjoyed taking care of her, especially when she was vulnerable like this. He knew she could handle herself, but he also knew that everyone needed someone to lean on every now and then.

"Breakfast is almost ready," he called out, his voice echoing through the house. The smell of eggs and bacon filled the air, a comforting scent that seemed to ground them both in reality. Urian and Styxx at the counter discussing The latest string of murders, but their conversation played on a loop in his mind. A demon cult? It was a possibility, but one he didn't want to consider. Not yet.

Raven emerged from the bathroom, her skin glistening with moisture and her hair wrapped in a towel. She walked over to him, and he couldn't help but admire the way the water droplets clung to her body. He handed her a cup of coffee, and she took it with a grateful smile. "You know, I think I could get used to this," she said, taking a sip. "You cooking for me every morning." Styxx looked over with a smirk. "Just don't let it go to your head, he is a horrible cook even with god powers." Acheron chuckled, flipping the omelet onto a plate with a flourish.

The four of them sat down at the table, the conversation turning to the recent events. "So what's the plan?" Raven asked, sipping her coffee. Acheron took a deep breath, his expression serious. "I'm going to talk to Zack about setting up a curfew for the hunters. And I want you two to stay close to the house tonight." Urian nodded solemnly, but Raven's eyes narrowed. "What's wrong?" she asked, sensing the tension in his voice.

"Just a feeling," Acheron said, his eyes flicking to her. "But better safe than sorry. If this is a demon cult, they're likely to be more active during the darker hours." Raven set down her coffee, her hand tightening around the mug. "What are they after?" "Bodies? Souls? Death. It doesn't matter maybe it's just a human serial killer." Urian said, his voice gruff.

Styxx leaned forward, his gaze intense. "But what if it's not?" Raven asked, her voice quieter now. "What if it's something more?" Acheron's expression grew grim. "Then we handle it, together." He looked at both of them, his resolve clear. "We're not going to let anyone else get hurt."

After they finished eating, Acheron called Zack to relay the information and his concerns. The line was tense, but Zack agreed to the curfew, promising to spread the word among the hunter community. As they hung up, Acheron couldn't shake the feeling that something was off, something was watching them, waiting for them to slip up. He tried to push the thoughts aside as he, Urian, and Styxx prepared to leave, but the feeling lingered like a bad omen.
