Yandere Rio x Reader

I always believed that when Agatha and I exchanged our vows, everything would finally fall into place—that we’d be untouchable in the love we’d built. Standing at the altar, gazing into her eyes, I felt that this was finally the forever we had both longed for. But as much as I tried to brush it aside, a chill settled over me, a warning from the past that had never truly left.

The priest’s voice echoed through the quiet church, words I’d dreamed of hearing for so long. "Do you, ____, take Agatha Harkness as your wife?" he asked, his tone calm and reverent. I looked into Agatha’s eyes, the excitement brimming inside me. "Yes, I do," I replied, barely able to contain my joy.

The priest turned to Agatha, and with that familiar sparkle in her eye, she quipped, "Of course I do. I’m the one who proposed, after all." A ripple of laughter filled the church, easing any lingering nerves. This was the Agatha I adored: bold, fearless, my own fierce love who had fought countless battles alongside me.

But as we leaned in to seal our vows, a sinister chill spread through the air, darkening the lightness around us. A slow, mocking applause echoed from the back of the church, piercing through the laughter and joy.

“Oh, how touching,” a voice sneered, dripping with venom. "Did you really think you could escape me?" I froze, feeling a cold dread that I knew too well. It was Rio Vidal—my first love, my darkest shadow. She stepped forward from the shadows, her eyes holding that same possessive glint, but darker, twisted with an obsession that sent a shiver down my spine.

“Congratulations on your wedding, my love,” she purred, her tone deceptively soft. “But let’s be honest… we both know you belong to me.”

My heart pounded as Agatha squeezed my hand, steady and protective. I met Rio’s gaze, forcing the fear down. "Rio, whatever we had is over,” I said firmly. “I belong here. With Agatha.”

Rio’s smile faltered for a brief second, then hardened. “Is that so?” she murmured, her voice laced with venom. She raised her hand, and dark energy crackled at her fingertips. In an instant, a wave of dark magic hurtled toward us. I threw up a shield, but the force of her spell slammed into us, sending me stumbling back.

Agatha stepped forward, her own magic sparking to life as she countered Rio’s attack. "Leave, Rio. You’ve lost," she said, her voice low and filled with fury. "This is our day—our life. You don’t belong here."

Rio let out a cold laugh, her gaze fixed on me. "Oh, I think I do. You think you can just forget what we had?” she hissed, a twisted smirk curling on her lips. “Let me remind you.”

She threw another spell, a surge of dark energy hurtling toward Agatha. I moved to block it, but Agatha held me back, stepping into the path of the blast. “Stay back,” she whispered to me, her voice fierce. “I’ll handle her.”

I watched in terror as they clashed, each spell more intense than the last, filling the church with blinding bursts of light and shadow. Agatha fired a powerful hex, her magic tearing through the air, but Rio deflected it with ease, her laugh echoing like a haunting melody.

"Is this the best you’ve got, Agatha?" Rio taunted, sidestepping another attack with unsettling grace. "Did you really think you could protect her from me?"

Agatha’s gaze hardened. "You’re delusional, Rio. She doesn’t belong to you," she spat, her voice filled with a fierce resolve. She launched another hex, a blinding flare of energy, but Rio caught it, twisting it into dark shards that sliced through Agatha’s defenses.

My heart pounded as I watched Agatha stagger back, her strength waning. "Agatha, please—let me help," I called, desperation thick in my voice.

Rio’s eyes flickered to me, a dark satisfaction glinting in her gaze. "Oh, she’s a fighter, isn’t she?" Rio sneered. "But you know what they say… even the strongest fall eventually."
