*we have been working a massive drug case for about 2 months now and last night we found out where the drugs are made and today we are going to raid it and hopefully put these guys away for a long time! *I put this outfit on and brushed my hair into a low pony braid and did some light makeup before putting on my boots and putting my gun and badge on my hip and grabbing my bag,keys and phone and then I headed out of my apartment and started my drive to the district* At the district *I arrived at 6:20am I parked my car and headed inside the district greeted by Sargent Trudy platt* Trudy:morning baker! Mads:morning Trudy! *smiles* *I headed downstairs to the garage where some of the team members were getting suited up* Sarge:morning baker! Mads:morning Sarge! *smiles* are getting wired up? Hank:yup Jin can get you ready when he's done with jay Mads:sounds good! *I walked over to jay and Jin who were in the tech lab* Jay:oh look who's here! *smirks* Mads:what are you talking about? I'm not late! *I say confused on his words* Jay:oh I know but we thought you would be here way before now that's all! *laughs and pats my shoulder* she's all yours Jin! *smiles and walks away* Jin:come on over Mads! *laughs* *me and jay have a really good friendship a lot of people say we argue like siblings because of how close we are!* Mads:can I ask exactly what your putting on me? *smiles* Jin:it's just your typical wire so we can hear and camera so we can see that's all nothing crazy! *once I was done getting hooked up I thanked jin before making my way over to where some of the other team members were while others were waiting for Jin to get hooked up* Hank:if your already hooked up with wires get suited up as we are rolling out in 10 mins! *i went over and grabbed my vest and began to put it on but I was struggling to do it up and befote I couldn't ask anyone I felt a pair of hands touch my vest and the sound of it being done up filled the room I turned around and it was jay* Mads:thanks! *smiles* Jay:no problem that's what partners are for! Now can you do mine up? Mads:*laughs* yeah come closer! *I done up his vest and then we made sure the guns were loaded and we had everything we needed* Hank:gather around! *we all went and stood around him* Hank:now we have been working our asses off these past 2 months for this moment and this moment Only! So let's go in there and give it all we got! Make sure you have your partners back because we are all coming home tonight! Erin:yes sir! *smiles* Antonio:are we going in dark? Hank:yeah but we are also parking about a block away so they don't get suspicious I want to catch these guys in action! Al:let's roll! *smiles* *we all got in our vehicles and drove to the location* About a block from the Warehouse *when we made it to our meeting spot we all parked our cars and got out and began to follow sarge into the warehouse we could hear the machinery running so we knew they were in action* Hank:split up half go left half go right stay aware and have each others back! Kevin:copy that! *we headed our separate ways and we walked inside the building through 2 different entrances! And we saw our crew we gave each other the nod before making sure our guns were ready and we went in where they were* Jay:Chicago pd show me your hands! *he yells at the top of his lungs* *the others came in shortly after and yelled the same thing some cooperated some didn't* Mads:show me your hands! *I yell as I have my gun pointed at someone who is hid behind a box* Mads:come out nice and slow! *I yell once again* *he didn't listen and before I knew he popped out with a gun pointed right at me* Mads:hey! Drop the gun! *I yell* ?:how about no? Mads:this can be nice and easy! Just drop the gun and you'll come out of here alive! ?:how about I come out alive and your dead? Mads:you won't get a chance to shoot me as your already be dead! *I say trying to keep up with energy* *he pulls on the trigger I panic but before I can shoot at him he drops to the floor and my heart drops! I looked behind me and it's jay* Jay:you good? *he says clearly seeing the expression on my face* Mads:yeah just a little startled that's all! How'd you know? I was here by myself? Jay:just partner instincts I guess and besides we all go home tonight! We got each other's back! Mads:you are right on that one! *I say getting my feelings back I get out my radio and contact sarge and the team* Mads:*radios* 1 offender down 2 in custody on our end Hank:*radios* code 4 all clear! *we all let out a sigh of relief and we walk back over to sarge with jays arm around my shoulder* Hank:you good Mads? I heard what happened Mads:all good sarge! *smiles* Hank:good! Good job today to all of you! Now let's go home and relax before our next big case! *one thing that's different from gang and narcotics and intelligence is that we don't stop! We finish one case and then right on to the other while in G&N you have a break ish between the 2 but I would not trade it for the world!*
