As the new school year approached, two lives were about to intertwine in unexpected ways.
Hidayah is a bright, ambitious young woman, balancing her faith, her career, and her personal aspirations with grace — though it's not always easy. As the eldest daughter in a close-knit Bangladeshi family, she feels the weight of responsibility to her parents and her community. She's passionate about teaching, determined to complete her PGCE, and dreams of a future where she can blend her love for education with her faith. But beneath the surface, Hidayah struggles with anxiety, constantly questioning whether she's doing enough, whether she's living up to the expectations of those she loves.
Aaron Russo, a talented artist with a heart full of dreams, was never supposed to be part of her world. A reverter to Islam with a mixed heritage, Aaron has always forged his own path. His life has been shaped by his love for art and the profound shift in his faith. But when his work brought him into the world of education, he met Hidayah — and something clicked. Though their backgrounds are worlds apart, they share a deep connection, a love for Islam, and a vision for their future.
When they met in the bustling corridors of the school, their contrasting energies would spark an unexpected friendship, one that would challenge their perceptions and deepen their understanding of faith, ambition, and the complexities of love. With each interaction, both Hidayah and Aaron would discover not just the joy of teaching, but also the beauty of their shared journey—a journey that would teach them both invaluable lessons about themselves and each other.
Despite facing challenges from their different upbringings, family expectations, and Aaron's potential job offer overseas, Hidayah and Aaron find themselves drawn together in a journey that brings laughter, understanding, and moments of doubt. They may not have all the answers, but with each other, they are learning to build a life founded on trust, love, and faith.
Both Hidayah and Aaron must navigate the delicate balance of career, family, and their faith. Will their bond be strong enough to withstand the obstacles ahead? Or will distance, differences, and the weight of responsibility threaten to tear them apart?
In this heartfelt and inspiring love story, Hidayah and Aaron must find their place in a world that constantly challenges them, while never losing sight of the faith that brought them together.

A/N
I started writing this story when I was 15, and now, as I'm in my final year of uni, it feels surreal to finally share it. For a long time, I didn't have the courage to upload it, but after rejoining Wattpad, I thought, "Why the heck not?" I just want to share this piece of my journey. It isn't perfect but I'm proud of it.
I aim to upload as regularly as possible since I write fiction to de-stress and God knows I'm going to need it this year but I hope whoever decides to read this enjoys!
If you like the story, feel free to vote and comment – I'd love to hear your thoughts! And if you spot any mistakes, please don't hesitate to point them out. I'll do my best to correct them.
Thanks so much for reading!
