Part 17 - Rescue

3rd POV:

"Everyone ready?" Hyuna yells as she looks at everyone in the van.

Everyone nods, geared up and ready, Till helping Ivan tie the straps on his protective arm bands.

"Earpieces in, we can all communicate through them. If we get separated we can at least still communicate. Turn them on now." Hyuna orders, her voice loud and leaving no room for back talk.

"We will be arriving in ten minutes, so let's go over the plan one last time," Hyuna sits, getting closer to the group to make sure they all hear, "We go in through a back vent. The vent lets us out on the second floor, once inside we will take the stairs to the third floor and go to Lukas private room at the end of the hallway. Ivan, you will get us into the room and then we will leave with Luka before the aliens get him for his hair and makeup for the show."

Everyone nods again, looking determined for their rescue mission.

After another minute the van stops at the back of the building, and just as before, there were no guards. Everyone files out of the van, the driver then pulling out of sight, waiting for them to return.

Hyuna wastes no time before taking off the top of the vent, tossing it to the side with a loud clang. She then makes her way into the vent, Ivan first, then Till, and then two extras Hyuna brought with them.

The vent was cramped but had enough room for them to crawl through and also pitch black, Hyuna using a small flashlight to find her way through the vent.

Eventually they get through to the other side of the vent, Hyuna being more careful with this part as she took off the part of the vent, placing it gently on the ground before crawling out and standing up.

They all file out of the vent, stretching as they begin their way to the stairs.

"How far are these stairs again Ivan?" Hyuna asks as they all quietly make their way through an all white hallway.

"At the end of this hallway to the right. Guards patrol this hall so be alert." Everyone nods as they continue down the hall.

Just as they are about to be at the end of the hall they hear a door slide open, hearing heavy footsteps start.

"Shit." Hyuna says under her breath, she looks around for any hiding spots. She feels a hand wrap around her upper arm, yanking her to the side of the wall, looking over to see Ivan, typing a code into a part of the wall, a secret door opening in the wall.

"Get in." Ivan says, making sure the whole group was inside the room before stepping inside, closing the door back up leaving them in darkness.

They all stay quiet as they hear the footsteps get louder and pass by the room they were in. They all let out a breath as Ivan opens the room back up, then continuing down the hall.

They make it to the stairs without any other appearances of guards, they all quickly make their way up the stairs and turn to start heading down the hall.

As Ivans about to turn down the hall he hears a faint bang, coming from the opposite way. He fully stops and turns to look, seeing a sign,

'LAB'

Ivan starts to step down the hallway to get closer when a hand rests on his shoulder.

"Ivan, what the hell are you doing? Let's go!" Till tugs at him, pulling him back to the group as they start to stealthily make their way to Lukas room, their hearts racing.

They finally make it to Lukas room, hearing a faint melody of a hum coming from inside the room, Hyuna's heart rate spiking as she hears the voice she's been longing to hear, while also dreading it in the process. She turns her head, nodding at Ivan to open the door to his room.
