During that time though Seungmin got training from JYP officials and he never forgot about Minho at all.
Soon after he joined he was chosen to be in the group Stray Kids by Chan, the guy who he and Minho talked to during their auditions. Seungmin always begged Chan to let Minho in JYP but Chan said he couldn't do anything.
The real thing though was that Chan was meeting with JYP each day asking him when he will call Minho to join JYP.
Chan initially saw the potential in both of them and wanted them both to join Stray Kids but JYP tricked him and only called in Seungmin. Chan was mad about that and threatened to cancel his trainee contract if Minho wouldn't be added.
Chan was actually a big-shot in JYP since he was a trainee for 7 years and was finally going to debut soon.
JYP didn't want Chan to quit because a lot of people liked Chan and if he quit then there would be rumors about JYP which Park Jin-Young didn't want. JYP finally gave in after a year though and Minho was called by JYP.
Even though Minho wasn't accepted into JYP a year ago he was still trying to make his dreams come true too. He applied and became a backup dancer for the biggest Kpop group in history, BTS.
He was a backup dancer for their world tours and other stuff but of course he never forgot about his puppy Seungmin either.
He learned to play the guitar on Seungmin's guitar that he left for him and wished each day he would see Seungmin again and give him what is rightfully his back to him.
That day Minho got the call from JYP he was backstage on a BTS concert and he had to walk out for a bit. "Hello?" Minho said wondering who was calling him this late.
"Hi, this is JYP Entertainment, you have been accepted into JYP Entertainment. Pack your bags quickly and come over to the JYP Building where bodyguards will be waiting for you there."
Minho was flabbergasted but quickly responded "I'm a backup dancer for BTS right now and I have a concert to do so-" "He'll do it" a different voice said in the phone.
Minho looked back to see Jimin with a smile on his fase and Yoongi behind him. "Go, live your dream." Yoongi said behind Jimin. "I can't wait to see you on your own stage someday" Jimin added. "But what about the concert?" Minho said worryingly.
"Don't worry about it" Namjoon said, coming out of the hallway "We'll handle it" Jin said following Namjoon out. "Good luck" Jungkook and Taehyung said at the same time walking out together.
Minho looked at BTS gratefully "Thank you, thank you so much" Minho said as he ran to get everything he had during the concert. BTS waved at Minho as he went out of the stadium and started the car home.
Seungmin, I'm coming Minho thought as he packed his bags and carefully put Seungmin's guitar inside it's case. Minho wondered what to do with his cats that he recently got to not stay lonely. Their names were Soongie, Doongie, and Dori.
Minho decided to call his friend who lived close by and he told him to look after his cats and if he couldn't then he could ask his sister instead. Minho's friend was dazed but said okay and quickly rushed over. Minho got into the car with all his things and drove to the JYP building.
As usual, bodyguards were already waiting for him. They escorted Minho inside and showed him to his dormitory. In it was 3 other people. They all got up instantly and greeted their new roommate.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Lee Felix" the guy named Felix said in broken Korean.
"Hi, I'm Hwang Hyunjin, nice to meet you" Hyunjin said bowing.
"Hello, I'm Seo Changbin" Changbin said shaking Minhos hand
"Oh, well, nice to meet you all. My name is Lee Minho and I'm 19 years old" Minho said shyly "Oh, you're older than all of us" Changbin laughed "I'm 17 but turning 18 this year, Hyunjin's 17 and Felix is 16 turning 17 this year." "Ah, I see" Minho said awkwardly.
"Oh yeah, Chan-hyung told us to welcome you since you'll be a part of our debut group so welcome to Stray Kids!" Changbin said loudly and everyone covered their ears.
"Hyung, calm down please" Felix complained (the bolded italic words are for when the members speak actual english) again in broken Korean.
"Can you not speak Korean?" Minho wondered looking at Felix "Come to think of it, you do look like a foreigner and Pe-lixu, Felix is a foreigner name too. Are you a foreigner?" Minho said to Felix
"Ah, right, I was actually born and raised in Australia for basically my whole life so I don't know much Korean." Felix said butchering his words and combining them with English words. Minho just laughed.
"Don't worry about it. You'll learn it eventually" Minho reassured Felix patting his shoulder.
Changbin sucked in his cheeks and glanced at the hand on Felix's shoulder. He managed a laugh but quickly pulled Felix next to his side and smiled.
"Thanks for that, anyway come and get settled in. You'll have to take the bottom left bunk" Changbin said showing him to his bed.
"Ummm, by the way do you know if someone named Kim Seungmin is also apart of the debut group?" Minho said catiously
"Oh yeah, there is!" Hyunjin said "He joined a year ago, he's in the other dorm" he said pointing to the left side of the wall.
"Can-can I go in there?" Minho said practically bursting at the seams with excitement.
"Ummm, sure" Felix said shrugging. "I'm pretty sure Seungmin, Chris, and Han should be in there right now. Jeongin is getting evaluated right now" Changbin added.
"Thanks!" Minho said already walking out the door. "Huh, I wonder what his relationship with Seungmin is" Hyunjin scratched his head. "Who knows" Felix replied back.
Minho knocked on the door to the left and a guy with dyed grey hair opened it. At first the grey haired guy looked confused but then smiled.
"You must be Minho!" The guy said to Minho. "Yeah, I am. How do you know who I am?" Minho said kind of flabergasted.
"Oh, I'm Chan! I was the one who recommended you to join Stray Kids. We met before at your auditions with Seungmin" Chan said.
Minho brightened when Chan said Seungmin's name. "Is he here right now? Seungmin I mean" Minho said hoping he was there.
"Of course" Chan said with a bright smile
"SEUNGMIN, COME OVER HERE FOR A SEC!" Chan yelled behind him. Minho heard the thumps of footsteps on the hardwood floor coming closer and closer until they stopped at the door.
"Yes, Chan-hyung?" Seungmin looked at Chan but then saw Minho behind him and rushed over to give Minho a big hug.
Seungmin basically sprang onto Minho and Minho had to step back a bit as he caught Seungmin in his arms.
"Hyung!!! I missed you so much" Seungmin said hugging Minho tightly. "I missed you too Seungmo" Minho muffled as his face was cuddled into Seungmin's shoulder.
Seungmin and Minho were finally reunited but for how long?
