WHEN DARREN HAD told Summer that they'd found Harper's bag, she was not expecting to find it was a literal dead bird on top.

"This is so messed up," Amerie said.

"What kind of psycho would do this?" Darren questioned.

"Some crazy bitch," Summer muttered, shaking her head.

"Rigor mortis has set in. It's been dead about two days." Quinni stated with a nod.

"NCIS: Hartley High." Darren gagged in disgust.

Quinni crouched down, bringing out her Polaroid camera. She took a photo of it.

"Oh, Quinni, no." Darren protested.

"We've gotta give it a proper burial," She replied. Some of the people on the field started to walk over.

"All right, which one of you dickheads is the Bird Psycho?" Amerie called out angrily to the people surrounding them. She turned back to Harper, "It's probably just some idiot playing a joke."

Summer was looking forward for the first party of the new school term. She was looking forward to drinking a lot, and also seeing Malakai.

She wore pink as usual; a bubblegum pink long sleeve cropped top and a matching tight fit skirt.

"Okay, so, given there's five of us now, I think it'd be really helpful for me if we created a list of topics to talk about tonight and then also schedule the topics so we know the order." Quinni explained to the group as they stood at the bunker party, "We can move between them organically, but it'd be good if we knew we had finished one topic before moving onto the next one. So, for example, the first topic could be
Amerie becoming so overprotective of Harper,
which is ruining her love life."

"That sounds kind of complicated," Darren stated.

"No, you're totally right. Creating a schedule would be too much." She agreed with a nod, "Sorry. Forget about it."

Darren sniffed around, a disgusted look on their face appearing. "This place stinks."

"Oh. No, it's not the place. It's my bag." Quinni told them, causing Summer to furrow her eyebrows, "The ibis is in it. I'm gonna bury him. It'll be a nice final resting spot by the ocean."

Summer glanced over to see Malakai, he smiled over at her. She sent him a small smile back. Even just looking at his smile again was enough to make her feel weak.

As she was about to walk over to him, Spider budged past him, catching Amerie's attention. She immediately began to stomp over, the others following.

"You did it, right?" Amerie questioned, "You're Bird Psycho."

Spider turned around in annoyance, "Here we go.
Or maybe I'm just not the only one who thinks that Harper's a witch. Enjoy the party, Cheezel breath." He turned around to walk off.
