IT WAS OFFICIAL; Harper, Darren and Cash were all moving in together. They had their house sorted out and now all they needed to do was move in. Summer was so excited for them, and for all the things that were going to happen in the house.
"Oh, my God, our house is sick!" Harper spoke in excitement as they walked up the stairs.
"Yeah, Roger's a legend." Cash agreed.
"Shit, yeah!" The blonde said, "House warming tomorrow, tell everyone!" Cash let out a laugh, "It's perfect."
Summer grimaced at the smell that hit her her nostrils, glancing back at Amerie and Darren, who had the same expression.
"Uh, is it?" Darren questioned, scrunching their face at the smell.
"Yes!"
"Wait, help me find where that skanky smell is coming from." Darren said to the girls beside them. They continued to sniff, looking around. "Don't be human remains. Please, don't be human remains." They crouched down and looked through some drawers.
"Have you heard from Quinni?" Amerie asked, glancing down at her phone, "I sent her this long message and she just replied a seahorse emoji. I don't know what to do with that."
"Yeah, she's being super weird lately." Darren replied.
"I think she's still adjusting to all the change," Summer said with a frown, "You know... no more Bird Psycho and everything else that's happening."
Darren sniffed, holding up their hand, "Hang on, babe, I think I'm getting close." They opened the top drawer, immediately coughing at them smell and reached inside, bringing out a slice of some off meat. "Is that... deli meat?"
"Ugh."
Summer grimaced, "Ew!"
"This does not spark joy," Darren said before they threw the slice of meat at one of the windows.
Harper suddenly appeared behind said window, "I have a house! I have a fucking house! I'm gonna get letters sent here and shit." She let out a shout in excitement.
"Like, oh, let's go!"
Harper and Cash walked out of the rooms they were in and joined Darren in a group hug, jumping up and down on the spot.
Summer let out a laugh.

Summer was actually feeling pleased with herself. She didn't have urges to kill particular people from just hearing the sound of their voices. She had what felt like a good talk with Malakai, all her friends bar one were happy, her hatred for Zoe was slowly decreasing and she had been spending quite a bit more time with Amaia.
She was walking into school with Amerie, Harper, and Darren. Quinni's absence was definitely noticeable to her though—she missed the cutie of the group.
