"Joon," A female voice stuttered. Who the hell is she? And what's their connection? Is she his ex girlfriend?
"I said, we're through" This time, you almost yelled. Whoa, I didn't expected you to yell at her. Well, who am I to judge you that quickly?
"A-are you breaking up with me, Joon? Are you with someone right now? Where in God's name are you?" She cried profusely on the other line.
"You don't need to know my whereabouts, Jae. Just cut the line on your end. Haven't you heard that we're through? Do you need me to repeat it again?" You warned, with your voice almost at the verge of lashing out.
"Yeah, you're right. We're damn through," The girl whose named Jae said then hang up the phone after. You just lashed out and yelled inappropriate words that I never wanted to hear again. You looked at me straight as you were about to taunt, but I immediately cut you off.
"Hey," I began. "I know that I'm not in the right place to tell you this but I think you need to think twice about what you have done to her."
You only shunned yourself as I cleared my throat to continue.
" Look, you didn't even gave her the chance to explain--" This time you're the one who snatched my line that I was about to say.
"Because she cheated on me! You don't even know the half of it," You said with a torrential voice. But I wasn't scared of your tone because I understood your reason why you lashed out on me like that, so I let you in.
"I-I'm sorry, I didn't mean to lash out on you like that," You apologized. I only hummed as a response to your initial reaction.
"It's fine, you don't need to," I said coldly. You only nodded as I walked away.
"Wait!" You yelled as I raised my eyebrows.
"What?"
"Let's hang out" You said as I looked at you with a confusion written on my face.
