As the last of the Bokoblins fled into the darkness, the trio stood catching their breath, their hearts still racing from the sudden fight. Link sheathed his sword, glancing at Four Sword Link, who wore an amused expression.
"That was fun! I can't believe we made such quick work of them!" Four Sword Link laughed, his excitement bubbling over. But just as he was about to say more, he felt a familiar tingle run through him. "Oh, I think I'm going to—"
Before anyone could react, he split into four identical versions of himself, each looking equally exhilarated. They all began to talk at once, their voices overlapping in a cacophony of excitement.
"Did you see how I jumped?" one exclaimed.
"I totally flanked them! That was awesome!" another chimed in.
"Let's do it again!" a third added, while the fourth one simply chuckled at the chaos.
Link shook his head, trying to contain his laughter. "Well, that's one way to celebrate a victory!"
Zelda looked between the four Links, her eyes wide with wonder. "How do you even manage that? You were just one person a moment ago!"
Four Sword Link's original form stepped forward, grinning. "It's all thanks to the Four Sword! It splits me into four when I use it. But don't worry, I can un-split myself whenever I want. It's a handy little trick!"
"Very handy," Link replied, still chuckling. "So, do you all have the same thoughts, or do you think separately?"
"We can share ideas, but each of us has our own quirks!" the original Four Sword Link explained. "It's like having different versions of myself running around, each with their own personality."
Zelda smiled. "That sounds like quite the adventure, though I can't imagine how chaotic it must get!"
Link interjected, "Chaos can be fun! Speaking of chaos, I've had my fair share of dumb ideas. Like that time I thought I could ride a rock down a hill." He laughed at the memory. "It ended up being a much wilder ride than I expected!"
The original Four Sword Link leaned forward, intrigued. "Really? Tell me everything! What else have you done?"
"Well, there was the time I thought I could cook a giant monster steak over an open flame," Link continued, his eyes sparkling with mischief. "Let's just say I learned the hard way that size doesn't always matter when it comes to cooking."
The other three Four Sword Links laughed, exchanging amused glances. "That's nothing! I once tried to juggle while fighting a Lynel," one of them said. "I ended up dropping my swords and juggling the Lynel's hooves instead!"
"I'd pay to see that," Link replied, shaking his head with a smile. "You might want to keep that one to yourself, though!"
As the four Links shared more silly tales, the camaraderie among them grew. Each story was punctuated by laughter, and they reveled in their shared misadventures.
Finally, the original Four Sword Link turned serious for a moment, looking at Link with a smile. "Thanks for the stories. It's nice to share laughs after a battle."
"Of course!" Link replied, patting his back. "Just remember, if you ever need more ridiculous ideas, I'm your guy!"
With a mischievous grin, the original Four Sword Link raised his hand. "Let's see how well you can keep up with me!"
"Okay, let's un-split ourselves first," he continued, focusing. In a moment, he returned to his singular form, looking just as energetic as ever.
The others followed suit, and soon they were all standing together once more.
