Calm

Water makes up more than half of the Earth mass. The vibrant hues of blue that shine across the world and give it colour. The cool but relaxing, slippery, water that everyone enjoys on a hot summer day. It was an amazing thing but most of all, it is a necessary part of life for human bodies. Hydration is a key function to the body's cells including bringing nutrients to cells, flushing out waste and protecting joints and organs.

So, imagine having such a quirk in real life? Water can be a resource in rescuing, defense and offensive abilities. Many family's have such an amazing quirk that shine through the pro hero industry. Everyone looks upon them to save everyone from fires and use their abilities to safely swarm victims to safety. Water quirks being able to manipulate water can be quite the fun at a young age to play with....

Mizu Suido was a young girl when she discovered her quirk at the beach. Her light grey hair shining in the sun as she ran towards the waves of water, watching it come towards her before retracting backwards. Her glossy blue eyes staring at herself as the water webbed through her little toes.

Water was her favourite thing in the whole wide world. She loved being outside in the rain, splashing the puddles that covered the ground and dancing in it, feeling the rain soak her socks in her rain boots and damp her lovely wavy hair that moved to the breeze. Mizu also loved drinking water, she always needed to have water whenever she went. Hydration was a big play in her family so she adapted to always having water next to her.

The water from the beach shined against the sun, casting a small glare in her eyes before she dipped her feet into the water a little farther from her original spot. The sand and rocks crunching under her feet. Her older brother came running up beside her, taking her small hand in his own and going deeper.

She was a little worried because she was only wearing little arm floaties but her brother held her and kept her up above the surface of the water.  A giant smile on her face as she paddled through the waters, keeping close to her brother. His blue-ish, grey fluffy hair soaked from dunking under the waters, his grey eyes immune to the effects of the water. He possessed a water quirk as he is much older than her. He was pretty good with his quirk but he always had ultimate motives behind them.

Mizu always found herself watching him and pondering about how he talks and uses his quirk. He was a teenage boy but he was pretty rebellious and evil. Stealing from stores, always rummaging through peoples belongings and mocking people who were slightly different. Their parents weren't too sure what to do with him at this point, trying anything to teach him to behave. It was a massive struggle and with a little baby on the way, there wasn't much energy driven to fix a mischievous boy.

There was a ward in Hosu, where they lived at the time to place their son in their care while awaiting a new baby to bring light to the family. Mizu's brother was put into their care for approximately 3 weeks before he came back. Mizu remembers watching upstairs, hiding behind the wall of the staircase to see what was going on downstairs. Akun, the older boy, was actively violent, verbally aggressive and always caused problems with the nurses and other patients at the ward. He was deemed unfixable and that it was up to their parents to decide what to do with him.

This only made him worse in the house. The grandparents weren't too sure terrified of the child having had items thrown at them and the physical violence was unmatched. He had gone mad. Mizu was separated from him by being sent to Musutafu to live with her mother's parents for a while till they could get ahold of their oldest child.

Mizu got to visit every so often and sometimes they'd all come visit the house for dinner. Akun was gravely showing improvement by using his manners and putting his brain to the test for school as he had been doing miserably. There wasn't much energy being put towards the importance of life just towards the temporary negative fun rebellious kids always have for a certain period of time.
