"Both of you, stop—!"
Mizu's eyes were out of their sockets watching the event in front of her go down, someone was bound to get severely hurt from this. It wasn't even a good match anymore. She watched Midoriya screamed as he came closer to Bakugou, swinging his arm upwards he released his quirk to send a gust of air flying through the floors and ceilings and out the building, making a massive hole. Bakugou ended up released his massive blow of explosion on Midoriya which definitely hurt.
Mizu's eyes then went to the cameras above, seeing Uraraka holding one of the pillars in her hand like it was nothing and swung a bunch of the debris towards Iida who was standing beside the nuclear weapon still. He covered himself which meant his vision was blocked so she jumped over the massive hole in the floor, using her zero gravity and jumped over. When she released her quirk, she landed on the nuclear weapon, hugging it like a koala. She looked kind of funny.
All while at the same time, Bakugo was shaking in anger, staring up at the massive hole before looking back down at Midoriya. He looked like a disaster, one arm completely burnt while the other destroyed by his own quirk. This match really went the opposite direction of what Mizu thought was gonna happen and anticipated. Were the other ones going to be like this?
They exchanged a few words, well, Bakugo was once again talking in frustration before she saw Midoriya wobble and tumble to the floor, officially passing out from pure exhaustion and pain. She honestly didn't blame him for any of that to happen. He fought against a tough student, mainly without using his quirk too, against him at least. That took a lot of physical abilities and mental work. She silently praised him.
"The hero team.... WINS!" All Might screamed into the microphone, scaring Mizu at first but then a small smile lit up on her face. They had officially won the match just before the timer ran out on the screen. It was 15 minutes of pure torture and anticipation for everyone else in the monitor room.
Everyone gasped in shock, sincerely, Mizu was in shock too. It was written all over her face. All of what happened in just fifteen minutes really blew all of their minds. Mizu had no idea what to image the other ones would be there. If she fought Bakugo, she'd be more scared than how she fought with her brother.
"What a weird way for this to end. This losers are practically untouched and the winners are both on the ground." Kaminari pointed out and quite frankly, Mizu didn't disagree with him. He was right, this was a weird way for it to end but she was happy they won and that it was over with.
"How does the old saying go? They may have lost the battle but they won the war." The bird boy spoke up again while Asui did too.
"This class is intense."
"No kidding..." Mizu whispered under her breath, taking her eyes off the screen to start at All Might.
He left the monitor room soon after, going down to fetch a few robots that took Midoriya away on a sketcher. Bakugo still hadn't moved from his spot and it was obvious he was struck by losing against his worst enemy. He was shaking with a look of distress and shock in his eyes. She could tell he was hyperventilating but All Might stopped him by placing a hand on his shoulder and spoke to him.
Is he even upset they lost the battle?
...
"Well, despite the results. The MVP of this exercise is Young Iida!" All Might started off when he came back to the monitor room with Uraraka, Iida and Bakugo.Mizu blinked in shock, wondering what could have made him the MVP. She also could not hear anything and was more focused on the fight between Midoriya and Bakugo to remember much of Iida's part in the exercise.
"Huh?"
"Shouldn't it be just one of the heroes instead, since they're the winners?" Asui asked All Might and it made Mizu question her whole life.
