The morning came pretty quick that Mizu wasn't sure she had slept at all but she never woke up in the night. She uncovered herself, shutting her alarm off and fixing her bed. The stinging feeling was but an ache in her arm and backside. It still was very uncomfortable as she got dressed, trying to avoid messing up the tape. She got herself ready and let her hair down, wavy locks appeared from having her hair in a braid for so long. It was pretty beautiful.
"Good morning, dear. How are you?" Her grandmother was on her way downstairs when Mizu opened her bedroom door.
Mizu smiled at her, "It's just uncomfortable but still a bit painful."
"I bet." She nodded, and motioned for Mizu to follow her, "Did you get enough sleep?"
Mizu hummed a yes, lips in a thin line as she thought about the way the darkness had scared her for a moment last night but she shrugged it off. Her thoughts were toned to how today was going to go for her second day at school, she wasn't sure what do expect for the day.
"Namire is healing better now. She's been relaxing and sleeping good. I know you're worried about her." Her grandmother broke into her thoughts, pointing to a plate for Mizu on the kitchen counter.
"That's good. I was gonna ask about how she handled the night."
"Yes, she woke up feeling quite sore this morning but that means her body is recovering. She wished you good luck today because she knows you're gonna get stares today." Mizu heard her grandfather start talking as he came from the living room to the kitchen.
I forgot about that...Mizu mentally cursed herself for forgetting but accepted that this was her reality until he was either apprehended or killed. She didn't really like the thought of that.
"Well, you should get to school. Do not pay attention to anyone who makes a comment." Her grandfather pointed a finger in the air, "Or else I'll get there and deal with them myself!"
The young girl giggled in her as she pushed out of her spot at the table and gathered her bag for school. Her grandfather walked to the door and put his shoes on, twirling his keys in his hands as his granddaughter walked over and put her shoes on too. She followed him out the door and into the vehicle where he drove her to her school. She headed off a little early so she didn't have to encounter all the swarms of people that could affect her.
"Suido." Mizu heard a grumpy voice behind her as she walked the empty hallway on the first spot.
The girl froze in shock, trying to imagine the voice but couldn't so she turned around to see her tired homework teacher. It was definitely a shock to see him awake this early.
"I heard about what happened yesterday.." He started and it made Mizu wince, "Recovery girl can heal your wounds. You'll be doing hero training today but it is your choice if you're too tired."
Mizu blinked a few times before taking in what Aizawa said, "Okay.."
With that, he nodded and showed her a slip of paper that she took from him. It was a pass to see Recovery girl to be treated and looked after. Mizu whispered a 'thank you' to him before rushing off to see visit the older lady.
Mizu went in with a frustrating pain in her stab wound but Recovery girl was inviting and accepted the young girl with a smile. The lady told her how her quirk worked that her healing required the energy of the person she was healing therefore, it would drain her energy level widely. Mizu nodded at her before getting a kiss to her arm and instantly the pain went away from her lower back and arm.
The tiredness I feel is crazy. Mizu felt herself slouch forward with a yawn. Recovery girl popped her a pez in that moment.
"Make sure you drink your water and eat decent food. You should be alright in a few hours." The older lady informed her which Mizu took in, nodding at her list of things.
