Okay so I can't remember if I told you guys or not but I am a freshman in college this year. I'm majoring in Aerospace Engineering and minoring in math. I also play soccer for my university and adult hockey. That being said, I am extremlyyyyy busy.

The next 5-6 weeks I am working on my semester final engineering project so my updating schedule will be a bit slower than normal. I promise that I will still try to update as often as possible. I just figured that I should let you guys know so that you don't think I'm purposefully ignoring this story lol.

Anyways enjoy this chapter!

Chesca POV:

If loving you is a sin, then let hell be my paradise.

I recently heard that quote from Lily Fields and I can't stop thinking about it. My mom likes to call me a sinner for loving another girl, but if my greatest sin is for loving someone, then how much of a sinner really am I?

I was thinking this once again just a couple of days after I had run away. I was sitting in my room when after school had let out Cecilia came into my room and closed the door behind her. In reality, it wasn't my room. It was just the DeLuca's guest room that they had bought a few things to decorate the white walls and make it feel more 'homey'. But really, nowhere feels like home to me anymore.

What is home?

"Somethings going on with your brother." Cece said as she walked over and sat at the foot of the bed.

"What do you mean?" I asked as I closed my laptop. It's not like I was actually doing any of my schoolwork anyways. I was just trying to deactivate the parental controls so that I could use it as a real computer. Unsurprisingly, my mother had password protected all of the admin controls.

"Like he's been moping around. Not really talking to any of his friends or putting any effort into classes. Oh and the boys soccer team had a scrimmage last week and Chesco looked like he was on another planet. He got pulled out of the game!" Cecilia explained.

"Oh shit." I mumbled. Chesco and his friend Marco Pereira are the captains of the boys soccer team. If a captain gets pulled out of the game, then you know that they had to have been doing extremely bad.

"Does Chesco even know where you ran away to?" Cecilia asked.

"Nope. None of my family knows." I replied.

"We'll maybe you should tell Chesco. If you're disappearance is what's weighing on him, then maybe knowing that you're safe and okay will help pull him out of his slump." Cecilia explained.

"I have no way to contact him." I admitted sheepishly.

"What do you mean?" Cecilia asked.

"I don't have my phone."

"You're telling me that you ran away from home without taking your phone with you?" Cecilia asked with confusion.

"Yeah. My mom installed a tracker on it. I had to leave it." I explained.

"Oh." Cecilia whispered, as if remembering once again how awful my situation really is.

"Do you want me to tell him where you are?" Cecilia asked.

"If you could that would be great. I'd need him to come visit eventually anyways." I replied with a smile.

"Okay I'll tell him at school tomorrow." Cecilia replied with a nod.

I think the events of the other night have truly began to hit me. My parents may actually be getting a divorce. That's something that I never thought would happen. I mean, how can they go from loving each other my entire life to all of the sudden everything is coming crumbling down?
