There's a flash back in this chapter to chapter 10 of "Away From Home" which is titled, "The Offer". I think the flash back will explain things enough to you but if you are still confused then feel free to reread that chapter!

Chesca POV:
With me speeding the entire way there, I made it with 20 minutes to spare so I quickly dropped Chesco off at his dorm complex before going over to the girls dorms so that I could check in and get my room key.
Thankfully there wasn't a long line so I didn't have to wait too long. When I stepped up to the desk, two girls were sitting there with smiles on their faces. They both had names tags that read "Student Ambassador" on them.
"Hi! What's your name?" One of the girls asked.
"Francesca Bertucci." I replied. The girl nodded before typing my name into her computer. She waited for it to load before looking over at the girl sitting next to her.
"She's in C complex. Room 108A." She stated.
"Okay." The other girl replied before turning behind her where boxes upon boxes of room keys sat. They were labeled A-D complex. She reached into the C complex box before fishing around until she found my room key
"Here you go!" She said with a smile as she handed me my key. "Need any help finding your room?" She asked.
"Nope I'm all set. Thanks!" I said before running off. As I did, I looked down at the clock to see that I only had 15 minutes left before practice started. I quickly ran over to my car, grabbing my duffle bags but leaving my soccer bag in my trunk. If I was going to make it to practice on time then I would have to drive to the field.
Once I had my bags, I quickly jogged over to the building with the big letter 'C' statue outside it. Once I swiped my student ID and opened the door, it was only a matter of walking straight down the hallway until I found my room.
When I got there, I noticed that my room was right next too another room which had the label, 108B outside it and I realized that I was getting a suit style room.
Sick!
Since I didn't know any other girls going to this school, I just applied to have a random roommate. I was told that I would be getting paired with one of the other Freshman soccer players which was nice but I never reached out to her so I don't even know who she is. I kind of just stopped checking my student portal after that which is kind of bad but I've been super busy. Not only with working but also with all the emotional stuff I've been going through since my breakup with Jamie.
Stop thinking about her.
I scolded myself as I shook my head. I then quickly unlocked my room and stepped in. Once side was already decorated but my roommate was nowhere to be seen. She was probably already at the fields since we are supposed to be at practice early.
I looked down at my phone and saw that I only had 10 minutes left until practice started. I quickly threw my bags onto the unclaimed bed and ran back out of the dorm room. There was no time for me to unpack now so I'd just have to do it after practice.

Jamie POV:
Gianna, Natalie, and I decided to get to practice extra early. Being Freshman, it couldn't hurt to show up early and make a good first impression on the team. That being said, we left our dorms 30 minutes before practice started and walked together to the fields, getting there with 15 minutes to spare.
