Chapter 6

Mattheo
I walked out the door smirking. I loved watching her body shiver at my touch. She was beautiful but I'd never let her know. She had a smart mouth and talked back like there was no tomorrow. I'd have to fix that eventually. I ran my hands through my curls before going down to sit on the couches with the boys.

They all looked at me silently. I could tell they wanted to know what happened. I sighed. "I didn't do anything to her. I just warned her not to have a smart mouth with me and told her we could go to the club, but everyone is going. I'm not letting her out of my site."

"We're going clubbing. This will be fun." Blaise said. We started talking about what we wanted to do over the break.

I looked over at Enzo who seemed to be lost in thought while petting Isabella's snake. "Enzo is everything alright," I asked wondering what on earth was distracting him this much. The boys went silent looking at Enzo.

"Mattheo,"Enzo began. He seemed to be trying to find the right words.

"I need you to promise me something. Before you say anything let me finish. Promise me you wont hurt her and you'll take care of her. You don't have to love her, just don't be mean. I love her more than anything else and I don't want anything bad happening to her. If you hurt her, if a time ever comes to pick sides. I'll be at hers whether you're on it or not. So please take care of her. Whether she tells you it or not she's also had a difficult life. She went to hell and back to try and save someone only to lose them. She has a big heart covered in steel. If she opens it to you, don't destroy it or there will be consequences."

I thought about Enzo's words. I don't let people threaten me but I'd never seen Enzo care this much about someone. "I promise you Enzo I will try not to hurt her. I will make sure she's taken care of and I'll protect her from danger. That doesn't mean that I won't raise my voice at her but I'll never cause her any real harm."

Enzo nodded at my words. He moved Onyx over to blaises lap. I watched blaises eyes widen as the snake looked him in the eyes deciding whether or not he liked Blaise. she hissed and curled into a ball on his lap. Enzo walked over to me and wrapped me in a tight hug. "Thank you,"he whispered in my ear.

When he pulled away we saw everyone looking at us. "Alright let's go get ready," I said. Everyone stood up and we walked up the stairs to our rooms. The boys stayed here almost every break so they had their own rooms. I slowly opened my room to see it was empty. I started looking around and saw her brushing her hair. She hadn't seen me and I decided not to bug her.

I went to our closet and grabbed my leather jacket and some black dress pants. I paired it with black dress shoes and decided to leave my jacket open exposing all the muscles on my chest. I ran my hand through my hair and I was done. I walked out the door and rejoined the boys downstairs by the door.

Isabella

I stood frozen in place for several minutes. His words replayed in my mind. I wasn't going to let that  happen. I didn't want him to view me as some toy. I got off the wall and walked over to my nightstand to check the time. It had already been a half hour.

I rushed over to my bath room and began getting ready. I brushed my hair then went to pick out my dress from the closet. I wanted to make Mattho angry. I got a short red dress from a hanger. I slipped it on and it fit me like a glove. It had two thin spaghetti straps and the length went a little above mid thigh showing off the curve of my ass and had a slit showing off most of my right thigh.

I went back to the bathroom. I like my makeup light but that wasn't going to do it tonight. I decided to do a brown smokey eye with gold eyeshadow on my lids. I added mascara and light eyeliner. Then I applied some concealer and red lipstick.
