I spent the rest of the afternoon with Steph, gossiping and laughing as we shared stories about the modelling gig.
"Girl, your face when Alexander walked in was priceless!" Steph chuckled.
I blushed. "Shut up! I was just surprised."
We strolled through the city, enjoying the warm evening breeze. Eventually, our chatter turned to dinner plans.
"Let's grab sushi," Steph suggested.
Over spicy tuna rolls and sake, we dissected every detail of my encounter with Alexander.
"He's gorgeous, but mysterious," Steph said.
"I know, right?" I agreed. "But what if it's a legitimate opportunity?"
Steph shrugged. "Only one way to find out."
After dinner, we headed to a rooftop bar for drinks. The city lights twinkled below as we sipped our cocktails.
As the night wore on, Steph yawned. "Time for me to call it a night."
I nodded, hugging her goodbye. "Thanks for the venting session."
The taxi ride home was quiet, my mind replaying the day's events.
As I settled into my apartment, I poured myself a glass of wine and sat on the couch, reflecting.
Alexander's offer lingered in my thoughts. What did he really want from me?
I took a sip, letting the wine warm my senses.
My phone lay on the coffee table, Alexander's business card still tucked into my pocket.
Tomorrow, I'd research his background, and try to uncover more about this enigmatic man.
For now, I just wanted to unwind.
With a sigh, I leaned back, letting the evening's calm wash over me.

The Next Day
I woke up feeling refreshed, ready to tackle the day. After a quick morning routine, I dove into household chores, cleaning and organizing the apartment. The sense of accomplishment was satisfying.
Steph arrived just as I finished showering. "Hey, girl! Ready for breakfast?"
We headed to the kitchen, whipping up scrambled eggs and toast. Fuel for the day ahead.
"Grocery shopping next?" Steph asked.
I nodded. "Yeah, we need to restock."
At the store, we strolled through aisles, chatting and laughing as we filled our carts.
Back home, we spent the afternoon cooking dinner – spaghetti with meatballs, garlic bread, and a green salad.
As we sat down to eat, Steph suggested, "Movie night?"
I grinned. "Perfect."
We picked a rom-com, snuggled up on the couch, and enjoyed our dinner.
After the movie, we switched to game night – laughter and competition filled the air.
A few glasses of wine later, our energy shifted to dance party mode.
As the night wore on, our giggles subsided, replaced by a more serious mood.
"Time to research Alexander," Steph said, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.
I nodded, grabbing my laptop. "Let's get to the bottom of this."
